guys...why isn't my bluetooth working? i know i need to pair it up.. but it's not discovering any of my other phones...
also, is there any way for me to disable edge? been wasting alot of $ when my friends accidentally press some buttons

this mornig my new iphone can't call out but can receive call only?? why ah?? what can cause this problem?? please help?? Or do i need to do restore via itune?? if i use itune's restore, will my data of 3rd party softwares will lost too??

iPhone's bluetooth is for earpiece pairing only, Apple crippled bluetooth's full functions... that's why you can't detect any other bluetooth devices...
Use BossPrefs to switch off EDGE for good...

are u a maxis/hotlink user?
if yes then it's probably the network prb..not ur phone

Tried BossPrefv1.56 but still ian't turn off the EDGE.
It turn off for the 1st time then after few second it turn back on.

Any other more effective ways to turn the EDGE off ?

That's strange, my BossPref is also 1.56 but it did effectively turn off EDGE, maybe restarting the phone will help?

Tell u the best tip. The MOST effective way of
turning of your Maxis EDGE is to call up Maxis n
tell them to deactivate your GPRS for u.. hehe....
That way, PERMANENTLY no GPRS n EDGE....
no need to worry bout unexpected charges at the
end of the month.... hehehehe.

Sorry if i missed out the earlier discussion, but what is the problem with the EDGE thingy? I suppose the phone automatically switch to EDGE (when ur browsing the internet for example) when the WIFI connection is terminated?

Yes, that will be convenient if you are having unlimited data plan, for others without those unlimited data plan, your bill will sky rocket or prepaid credit will evaporate in no time...

I am also using BossPref to turn off EDGE.

Even the E symbol still appear, but no transmission happens after i have checked the Usage in Setting. So i ASSUME the EDGE is off.

yup the symbol will still appear even after u use app to turn it off

mmm...fakeblank 3.9 is just for BL4.6 user
yup, even if u put the wrong settings for EDGE (null or fake settings), the E will still showed. it just saying bout the network's EDGE availability on that location, not necessarily the transmission is taking place. like other phones also.

or you can simply put a wrong EDGE setting, so the EDGE doesn't work.

Setting -> General -> Network -> EDGE
