You need to backup first. Then its should can sync it again.
So far using 1.1.4, never encounter any problem, and my wife also do fine with it iphone.

we really needs to follow hackint0sh. Add a firmware version at infront of the questions.
Really hard to answer if didn't know what firmware did they using.
Some of the apps not applicable to 1.1.4, but others is ok.
MMS is ok with 1.1.4

So you iPhone still locked? Got several unlock software now. Slowly read.
Takes your time.

you can check at 1st page "Hackint0sh" there are several unlock software. some of it is a modification of a ziphone.
BL and BB, yes you needs to jailbreak first. I don't knw how to look at weeks of production. Maybe others know
used iunlock and iclarified, they got a great tutorial.

3) Use customize to change what ever logo you want.
4) Done!
