Just restored, and use ZiPhone 3.0 instead. Although it downgrades the BL to whatever 3.9, it works and I don't really care what it does anyway.

If you use 3G, just save hard for it and when it comes out be the first in line. You might see new cosmetic changes, 3G camera on the front of cause and maybe firmware 2.0 right out of the box.
If not, just buy the current iPhone. It's doing great. |

Unfortunately, that didn't work.
I guess I gotta stay careful, it's weird cause how iPhone knows the GPRS or internet settings right out of the box where by I have not configure or set it up just yet? This post has been edited by Mike3300: Apr 7 2008, 09:28 PM |

QUOTE(frozzbyte @ Apr 7 2008, 11:17 PM) If u really want to save batt ... then just switch on airplane mode. But if people want to call then can't get thru. Thats the trade off. Lucky for me, there are less of people on my contacts who contact me after 11pm unless it's weekend. So turn on Airplane mode and put it to sleep mode |

QUOTE(Corvinux @ Apr 8 2008, 11:35 PM) Tried on iPod touch before. It's great but song selections are limited and it's quite buggy. Try Doom3 instead. Btw, when you're in a crowd of own friends.. do you give your iPhone to your friend to fondle when they ask too? I hate it when it happens. |

They press the screen so hard instead of touch it, what are they thinking? A Sony Clie?
Doom3 still under intense development, go find at YouTube "Doom3 on iPod touch/iPhone". |

Actually, I don't mind Apple putting a front camera for video conferencing/call and 3G stuff and maybe a new color for the case. What I mind is that Apple putting new OS into it and maybe new features (software), about the new features hope that will continue to give free updates to existing old iPhone users so they can have the features as well except for the 3G thing.

Rumors which I hope to be true for next gen iPhone.
QUOTE TGDaily claims (via IntoMobile.com) to have some new knowledge from "industry sources" about the upcoming 3G iPhone. According to their sources, the 3G iPhone will indeed be introduced at Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference (WWDC) in June. The 3G iPhone is expected to retain the same price points as the existing iPhone with an 8GB model priced at $399 and a 16GB model priced at $499. While they mention some speculation about a $599 32GB model, this remains unconfirmed. The 3G iPhone is expected to be housed in a slightly thinner enclosure, less "plasticky" design, with some accelerometer tweaks. The operating system and user interface will remain unchanged. While TGDaily admits they have not previously been the source of many Apple rumors, they have traditionally been a good source for Intel processor and industry information. Apple's WWDC conference takes place between June 9th-13th at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. Source |

Guys, got a problem. Everytime I connect my iPhone to iTunes, on my iPhone's page the 'Manually manage music & videos' box always uncheck while I've already checked it before. Therefore can't sync new music or videos and my current music & videos are grey out. Anyone encountered this matter before?

I'm still very stunned, it's amazing how simple Apple simplifies their very own iPhone as a smartphone by their GUI.
The more I'm exposed to the GUI, the more I like the iPhone. All of my friends are very happy to use the camera app because the large screen as the viewfinder is simply gorgeous. |
