bro, u dun need to use d conventional way to dail 121....u can try this out ----> Open the Phone application, then tap the keypad function. Enter the following:

*5005*86*phonenumber# (where "phonenumber" is the number you dial to call to your voicemail) then press the Call button.

then you tab the voicemail button, it should call your voicemail number.

Someone posted a battery drainage issue a while back.

Install the bossprefs and turn off SSH, it worked for me..
Battery lasted a bit longer after turning it off

Another thing about SSH, was playing around with it and change the default password "alpine" to ****.
Phone crashed so bwadly i had to put iphone to DFU mode and restore the phone.

Don't change your SSH default password.

Im running on fw 1.1.4

i found that the phone lets say u listening music then u pause it(using headset button)

then after like maybe 5-10 min, u try to resume, sometimes it wont resume

u have to unlock keypad, then oni click the headset button to resume

anyone got this?

No need to unlock the keypad. Just need to wake the phone (via pressing the Sleep/Wake or the Home button to bring you to the unlock screen). Then you can resume your music.

Only if you don't know what are you doing... I've changed my default password and didn't encounter any adverse effect, I simply do not want somebody to SSH into my phone using default password and change things without my knowledge.

Yes, my intention was also to change the password to prevent unauthorized access to my phone.
When it crashed i did a google and found out that they were similar incidents where changing the password will crash the phone...

1.1.3 cannot change password 1.1.4 dunno a.. Coz 1.1.3 got warning when u install bsd subsystem.. Never try to change it since got warning there.. Just turning off ssh when u don't need it..

I am having an issue here.

After Jailbreak+Activate+Unlock. My iPhone got no sound when there is incoming call, sms, keyboard and numpad no clicking sound as well. Oh yea, Slide to Unlock also no sound.

My iPhone 1.1.1 OTB upgraded to 1.1.4 with ZiPhone 2.6.

Anyone having same problem?

reset your phone .. hold the sleep/wake button + home button .. until it shut off
and restart.. should work again

The problem is after I reset all the setting, the iPhone will auto reboot.

After reboot, I tried to hold the sleep/wake button + home button until it shut off then reboot and it's still not working.

hey guys, i just my beloved iPhone 3days ago..... thank you for all your help in the previous posts.... but i have an issue here... i created 2 ringtone using the method from iClarified, let's call it A and B.... 1st i transfer A into my iPhone and i can clearly see ringtone A on my iPhone, so then i proceed to transfer ringtone B.... but when i check it on my iPhone, it shows the name of both ringtone B and my previous ringtone A is gone!!!! does that mean i gotta live with just one ringtone??? hope u guys here can help me out... thanks....

i've just joined the iphone community and i've got some questions 2 ask.

- how do i turn off the EDGE "E" logo on top of the iphone? i'm not using EDGE and i've turned it off using Systems. but the thing still there

- how do i turn off SSH coz when i try 2 turn it off using Systems, the SSH indication is not there in systems, does that mean i'm not using SSH?

After reset, try rebooting manually

Off phone using slider and power again after a minute.

Install BossPrefs. Under Config after you've opened the app, i think there's an option to disable "Show EDGE" over there. This app can disable SSH also.

when u sync ur itunes to ur iphone.. thick ringtone A n B together, cause each time u sync and if u dont include the others.. it will be taken off ur iphone!

but just beware cause for my case, sometimes the "E" sign will still be there although i didnt turn my edge on.
i dont know why but it's just there soemtimes although my edge is turned off!

the EDGE icon will there there even if u have turn off EDGE
it's just indicating EDGE is available in that area..

I'm on 1.1.4 but not using BSD. I choose to install Cydia instead of the buggy BSD, hence I can change password without problem. You can still change your password under BSD but using certain method only, I can't recall what's that at the moment.
