I need a guide too please.

I have installed weDic. but doesn't work.

That is only available if you are using official telcos working with iPhone in US, UK, Germany, France........

Bro...if you'll read my post properly...

You'll know that what I said wasn't that the voicemail button doesn't work. I know that.

What I said was that calls to me which are unanswered or when I'm busy NO longer get sent to my voicemail. On my Nokia, I could turn on call forwarding to my voicemail if busy or unanswered.

Just wondering how to set that up in iPhone.

my iphone is solely a communication device, i don't use it to listen to music. i have my ipod for that. at most i only watch happy tree friends when i'm waiting somewhere in boredom or check my email.

He said that he installed weDict and it's not working.

Well, from the installer on my iPhone, under weDict there's no dictionaries for Chinese, Japanese got. Does yours have Chinese in the list? Maybe you can try to uninstall and re-install again. For English, I installed Dictionaries -> OALD, quite good....exactly the same as my dictionary at home.

U only get the timing when u fully charge ur phone. If the springboard restarts then u'll loose the timing again.

just a quick question, anyone here know where can i buy the iPhone handsfree headset? my current one kaput d sad.gifsad.gifsad.gif

or anythign similiar to the one i'm using now?...and i wonder how much would that cost :S...

looking for wired stereo headset with mic function >_< is there any way i can get a new one?

Yeah i agree...we could create specific sub-forums for software, hardware, firmware etc etc issues. That will make things less messy. Since we get a newbie asking how to import contacts from the SIM card every other day.

as i look thru the thread..
to browse the files in iphone --> use winscp right ?

but then when i used winscp & type in either alphine or dottie as the password

user: root
pass: alpine/dottie


it shows me access denied

if you are using Windows, get iphonebrowser. Just connect your phone via USB cable and run the program. Can access (delete/drag-and-drop and a backup function) the files on your phone without password. Just make sure that your computer has Network 2.0. If not, during installation, it will prompt you to download the necessary files.
