Managed to bot some @ 4.98 today

The question is: are we on the verge of 1997/98 crisis? If it is, u can get a good bargain from fire sale. Previously, experts said this time we are different. We have more forex reserves now. We have less foreign debt. (But after the 1MDB borrowings, I am not sure). Now the real exodus have started n foreign funds are just selling to get out as quickly as possible.

From the Elliott Wave perspective. the correction should be over around RM4.90 something using the Golden Divide. If the skyfall senario really comes, then everything is no longer applicable. By the way this price coincides with its support level zone.

The risk: All these are subject to the big picture i.e. the KLCI. Has the KLCI completed its corrective wave? If it hasn't then the setup may also fail.

i'd suggest buy with TRUCKs when people have given up/cursing
Buy when scared only... may not be lelong yet, like now for KLCI which has "only" fallen 12%+/- from 52 weeks HIGHEST POINT.

Just like when people say Shanghai Index fell 29%-30% liao - lelong.. i'd differ if U looked at how much run up (ie. 52 weeks highest point) it had.
no feel 30% down.
