Nonsense.

I, myself fly with AA and MAS quite often and all I can say is that they both are equally fine. If AA does not have any pretty girls then, so as MAS. To me, the service matters more than the appearance. I don't mind unattractive stewardess treats me well but I do mind cocky ones who think they're on the top of the hills treating me worthlessly.

I pay to enjoy the flights, not to sight-see the girls. In the other words, I want the commitment! The quality! But anyway, so far.. I have no problem with AA. Consider myself lucky? tongue.gif

If u think, m'sia bottle of water is expensive wait till u go to other countries..Europe and Australia damn bottle fo water is 3dollars+ in their own currency okay and it's not only in the airports. So quit complaining, it's the rules. if u insist on putting the blame on someone, blame those terrorists.

No la.ATR is a new aircraft that FireFlyz used now. They just received the airplane this AUgust. So,i wanna try the plane.See how comfy the plane is. A330 is nice.Very comfortable but not sure about AA cause the seat pitch is different from MAS and its quite cramp,i think!! Better choose the upper class tha AA provide(i think they offer that kind of class for flight to Perth). December ticket will be sell like a pisang goreng.People try celebrate Christmas and New years. So,that's why have to book fast. I tried Thai Airways also but the plane is full. So sad!!!! Wish have a train directly to Phuket..hehe

Aerei da Trasporto Regionale or Avions de Transport Régional (ATR) is an Italian-French based aircraft manufacturer.

the entrance is from aft which is non orthodox at all tongue.gif

during the 1st delivery of ATR to firefly, i got a chance to cuci mata at those stewardess jumped during the aircraft introduction and familiarization at SZB..and they (stewardesses) were jumping of from the airplane as if they need people to catch them..free movie la rclxms.gif

yup, had bad experience with AA too. i jus booked a MAS ticket, 100 more expensive than AA but i think i can get a better service, punctuality, food and most importantly, comfortable seats. my gf had the same case as urs too...they asked her to go in asap and when she went in, she got 1 hr before the flight, they inform her that the flight delayed.

i had this bad experience 2 yrs ago, and same case as u, there is no cs email. i think if they had tat, they have to hire someone jus to check the complaints cos 70% complaints and at the same time, their ticket is not tat cheap either unless u book few months before.

mas served boxed food but u don take the flight to eat, right? to me, mas did a good job la......at least more professionally rather than the malaysian attitude AA. so, sometimes u jus have to spend more

Speaking of air fare, did you guys notice the recent MAS promo all-in fare starting as low as ZERO!!!!!!????? MAS all-in fares
OMG. I was shocked and had to ask my friend to confirm whether it's really advertised by MAS. They even claim to be the first airline in Malaysia to tell it all in the open...this is freaking cool.

Guys, please bear in mind.
These so called 'cheap', 'free' or 'special price' seats whether from MAS or AA are only applicable to a certain day, time, certain flights and above all NOT ALL seats. Actually the costs of these seats are amortised over other seats/flights/whatever.. 'someone else' is actually paying for it. You may also be paying for someone else free seats.. the airlines will always make money, somehow.. wink.gif

There'is ~10-15% additional surcharge for booking via telephone or at any of AA branches compare to Internet booking...U forgotten the rental of the office & staff salary manning the branch-leh...Thus AA real operation is their website not their branches...Even their call-line really bad...So just book via internet lah..why waste you money travelling to their branch & paying premium just to be served hmm.gif

Ticket price bought over the counter is never the same/cheap compared if you bought through the internet. The price also fluctuates all the time. The ticket price you checked at 0900 hrs may not be the same when you check 1 hour later.
This is normal. Do not feel you're being cheated or ripped off. Thats the way things is with AA.

most of people miss the concept altogether, there's no way comparing mas service with aa, they are in different category at all. You can compare aa service with the like of tiger airways, jetstar but not with premium airlines. Is it fair for you to compare kancil with bmw? No right?
