apa susah susah

tunggu at the check in counter and wait for a traveller with very few or light bags

then ask him / her can you and him join the bag weight. when you check in together, your max weight is 30kg

if his is only 10kg, then yours is only 17kg, you are safe to go

of coz la u must be muka tebal sikit la... but i'd rather be muka tebal than pay lots of money to the sleazing money making air asia

been trying to contact an air asia sales agent through their customer service hotline but so far didn't get any answer on the phone! i just get a reply that all sales agent are busy due to overwhelming response to our promotion blah blah blah. i was calling since yesterday, waiting for at least 15mins each before i gave up on the call. today i called again and waited for 30mins but still no one answered. vmad.gif

if this is the kind of service that they provide then i'd rather not book their zero fare tickets even if its really cheap. shakehead.gif

without air asia my family and i would not have been able to travel to many places in the past years. so far, pleased with AA service. I have not flown mas for so long now, maybe one day if i am lucky to get the rm0 airfare i will fly mas again to see what has changed in service.
*
I agree with u there... For all the complaints and brickbats about stupid service provided by AirAsia, if not for them I wouldn't have been to places like Phuket, Bangkok, Langkawi, as well as the Gold Coast (this Friday! biggrin.gif) at an affordable price... You should see that giant model of an AirAsia plane i have in my room (bought during the flight to Phuket, scale of 1:100), it dwarves all the other MAS planes and a Titanic that i have! laugh.gif

And with Melbourne flights commencing this November, I'll be able to fly there to visit my bro and relatives without having to pay the HUGE fares charged by MAS anymore! I'm heading there in August next year, btw...

It's not issue with Phuket but the whole Thailand itself.
Read the news, opposition is trying to topple the current government; so there's riots going on.
Not a good time to visit Thailand. Wonder whether or not there would be another military coup.
The current PM of thailand was the ex-general who started the coup to overthrow Thaksin's empire.

Better check with AK, or try see whether or not MAS flies there. If they do, just call the MAS call center and check with them whether or not the airport is closed.
This few days, they've closed 3 airports.
Bangkok, Phuket and the last one I'm not sure.

LOL why the need to call? Easier to check for more details/book/change flight ticket through website. Anyway, what time did you call? Usually the line gets a bit harder to get through during peak hours.

FYI, have called airasia call centre only once before, and the line gets through pretty quick.

I think you can browse the 'Contact us' in the airasia website, and find the customer service e-mail. Just inform them about it and ask them to contact you back.

Anyway, how do you purchase the ticket? If you bought it on9, then just log in to edit your flight details lor

Whole M'sia is calling AA & MAS now to change flight..for sure u got stuck-lah....why not go online & change? but if u are buying economy promo...forget about it..the T&C as stated in AA specifically mentioned that all promo tickets are fixed & no changes allowed

Promotional Fares: Article 5.3 regarding Flight Change rules and Article 5.5 regarding Name Change do not apply to certain selected promotional fares.
