Has anyone suffered this? I tried to do my booking and when went to payment, it seems like it went through but then when it re-directed to AirAsia, it timed out and give me an error Page.

Now I'm stucked with 5x transactions and my bank says they are unable to do anything.

Would appreciate some comments if you have.

Mods : If this is in the wrong section, please re-locate. I'm not sure where to post it actually.

My friend kena last March 2009 when we tried to book tickets to Bali. You need to call Air Asia and tell them to rectify it. Your bank can't do anything.

[Mods] Thanks for relocating it.

I called up airasia, after 40mins, only I got to a human being.
Then they tell me that they can't do anything since I booked their "go-holiday".

So, now I'm calling them up once again.

Thanks peppermilk, I'm at least hopeful that it will be rectified.

I'm on hold for 36mins w/ go-holiday now.

Added on January 24, 2010, 9:27 amHmm.. the conversation w/ the Call Staff went well. (after waiting for 56mins and talked to her for 2mins) and they say that they CONFIRMED only 1 booking and the rest are either being auto-reversed or they will do a manual reverse. Will let me know 48hours later.

^just like every other airline. not that great. if you are lucky they will put it in one of those plastic treys when it comes out. but dont expect it to come out perfect. if its delicate make sure you wrap every individual piece properly and securely. also check whether the air asia insure covers damage to your items.

Received cancellation notice from Airasia for flight to Abu Dhabi on 7th February 2010. Anybody going on same date received cancellation notice?
Reason stated is due to commercial purposes.

Don't know whether the respond is so poor that they have to cancel the flight or the respond is so good that they decide to cancel our tickets since ours is the cheap fare rates so that they can make more money for selling the tickets at a higher price

i think its probably due to response is low. i dont think they would cancel your trip just to make a few extra bucks not only is it added risk of no ticket being sold as well as being unethical. but i think the main reason is if you check with the airport and your flight is actually taking off, then you can sue them hahaha.

Well AA did that b4 & if I'm not mistaken end of last year flight to Tianji were mostly cancelled due to weather???

Normally instead of 100% cancel, they do flight cosolidation which is pretty norm nowadays by AA...i.e let say 3 flights per day will be consolidated to only 1 on that day to reduce redundancy...Me kena twice liao...

the flight to tianjin is still not running. i checked few days ago till end of january. i think they are waiting for winter to be over. also i think not that many people. i think they need to advertise the flights to beijing more. some people dunno that the flight to tianjin is actually also beijing flight. hmm.gif

AA Indonesia is horrid!! I was on the way back from Bali and the flights were not even full. As I was sitting at the back of the emergency seat, my husband and I wanted to move in front because everyone knows the emergency seat area usually has bigger leg room. So instead of just jumping in front, we politely asked the stewardess if we could and she crapped us and said it's the hot seat!! Like WTF! Said she'll help us move to the front later bla bla bla (Which she didnt btw)

Then out of the blue some russian couple just sat in those seats we wanted and she didn't even say a word to them!!!

Talk about double standards la.

Even before the flight took off, another white guy wanted to sit right in front (hot seat) and she actually let him go!! Service was bloody horrible, they kept talking and talking instead of serving food. And if you want to order certain items on the menu you'll have to wait 20 minutes before it arrives!!!
