I love the iPod but i HATE iTunes. Not convenient for synchronizing in multiple computers, for movies you have to convert to their stupid format mad.gif

YamiPod is a freeware, developped by a student that enables you to manage your music AS YOU WANT for example you can add music by simple drag and drop from your folder rclxms.gif

here's the link to download this cool freeware thumbup.gif

Isnt it obvious? Itunes does not allow multiple computer syncing. Once synced to one computer, the sync to the next will delete your previous sync, a.k.a all songs from previous sync from previous computer will be gone.

These users are mainly those who wants to "share" songs to their liking, which is treading on the realm of piracy. They are used to the cheap MP3 players that works like thumbdrives where you can drag-n-drop them like files and oblivious about other things like album metadatas and artworks. That's where the hate is flowing from, since Apple stops them in their tracks.

I like my songs with nice album art, tagged proper, and i absolutely LOVE the FREE contents on iTunes. Yes, there are free contents on iTunes, all you need to do is Google up how to create an account, and it's FREE to do so. Lazy buggers need not apply, go with your Yamipods and Senutis.

iTunes doesn't run as fast on a PC. It's quite slow when you have a large library with a high res album artworks...

So only the syncing that is a problem with Itunes?

I just wanna know what most people would hate about Itunes.. There are so many Ipods out there and I wonder whether
they like the itunes ecosystem that they would defaultly use with their Ipods..

For me, I have one computer with a music library, and a back up on a NAS. If you were to be syncing with multiple
computers in the house, why not have the itunes library be on a Network drive so every computer refers to that one?
I'm the only one in the family that uses Itunes, I like my album art and playlist organization, so it really has never been
a problem for me

I don't know bout you guys but i definitely think the iPods are so powerful because of their integration with iTunes. Without iTunes, iPods per se is not a very outstanding player. Heck, you could even get any China-made MP3 player for a fraction of an iPod price that gives u hell loads more functions. Radio, voice recorder, loud speaker, camera (yes, camera!), shaver, refrigerator, thread mill, etc.

But like Stringfellow, i love my cover flow. I love my musics properly named. I love the iTunes. And i don't understand why people are whining about iTunes un-user-friendliness. I find it too easy to use for the Dummies series to publish a book on it.
