I am using RayTech as well. I was given a RM150 voucher by my SA and got it fixed over the weekend. Just don't fall for their pitching in trying to get you to upgrade your tint.

I had just serviced my car for its first 1,000km today. Paid RM170++. I don't know if there is any difference after the service, but it still feels as great as ever. My only big concern is my car FM radio. It goes silent for split seconds once in a while. It doesn't happen when I play songs from my CD. The SC guy took my car for a test drive but told me that he didn't experience it at all. He said it's most likely caused by the bad FM reception. Anyone else having this problem?

I read somewhere about this problem before. The owner adjust the antenna (pull it out more i guess), and the problem goes away. I don't know if this is true or not but there is no harm to try it out  smile.gif

I don't think I can pull mine any longer. A little more pulling may just put my FM radio to rest forever ;-)

Probably I should just read the manual, but I am too lazy. I hope someone here is hardworking enough ;-)

Im taking my car this tuesday, nway SA did't mention any freebies to me not even tinting voucher.

You have to ask, if you don't ask, they will keep silent.

I got these for free:

1) Steering lock
2) RM50 petrol
3) RM150 tinting
4) Free oil filter for first service

I know that the car will autolock itself if you leave the car unlocked for 30 seconds. I don't see that happening with my car anymore. I have to press both the keyless entry remote buttons to reset the setting. Then if I leave it for 30 seconds, it will lock itself. However, if unlock and try it for second time to leave it for 30 seconds, it will not work anymore. Do you guys know why?

Anyway, i'm facing some problem with it. The back right door lock does not functioning when i use remote and try to lock it from driver's seat. Another defect is, the back seat got hole in the middle, like breaking stitches..  sad.gif

The good thing is i got the car very clean outside and inside, 25km/j and free tint voucher.

The back seat hole is normal. I thought mine has got problem also, until I checked another new car at the SC.

Just an update... My FC is about RM 0.14 - 0.15 per km. (about 70% highway 30% city)

Does anyone know how much it cost to fix 2 grip handles for passengers at the back?

ur rpm is between?

I don't know... But usually I am at the 5th gear at 60 km/h... Read somewhere that driving at higher gear as practicable as possible will help improve FC. Any harmful side effect?

Can any one of SAGA BLM owner kindly open the engine cover , and take a look at the steering column through the empty space beside the IAFM side. I've just noticed that the steering column is rusted!!  ohmy.gif  ohmy.gif

Here is the picture :

Kindly check yours and is it a defect? does it have to be replaced?  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

Doesn't look too good... Maybe get your SC to check for you... I personally feel that you have the rights to get them to replace that for you...

Some of you have been asking for FC. Mine is around 15-17sen/km on average. The best recorded so far is 14.67 sen/km. I think each bar is worth around 70-75 km.

I was pushy before also, but fortunately I got a good car (touch wood).

I saw many new cars in silver color at the show room in front of the Sungai Besi airforce airport. I think my silver proton will be a very common car on the road soon.

Not proton's fault, top management ok they want to be the best, down the chain of command theres the problem, THE TIDAK APA ATTITUDE that the workers have, in one week work 3 days break 4 days.
*
I think it's just the culture that has been ingrained in Proton. Yes, the top management is good, but it is their responsibility to change the attitude of those down the line as well.

My silver saga is a base line model which does not come with assist grip and boot light. I went to the SC along Jalan Cheras to ask them if they could fix for me. They said I have to get from car accessories shop. I have tried Brothers, but they do not have the assist grip. Could anyone please let me know where to get?

Hi everyone there, Saga BLM is one of the car under my consideration currently. After reading more than 50 pages from this forum, many problems have been brought out. However, May I know the latest FC for A/T M-line after few services?

Thanks

Mine is manual B-line. RM0.15- RM0.17 per km.

I think only those with complaints will come to this thread. Those with good cars have no reason to visit the forum here. ;-)
