mine also slightly hard to pull up but i unvirgin the thing laugh.gif by pulling it up and down for like 10-15 times, then it become much more smoother. I think its a slight design fault the knob is so hard to be pulled up, plus the hole they open is just barely enough for the thing to come up and down.

by the door handle is good, not as hard to open like those in the showroom.

anyway guys, er which service center would u all recommend? the proton edar one at Bandar Tun Razak or the siang hin at taman midah?

i think got a threat here before saying that someone send their car to siang hin and it ended up burning on the road, so i'm pretty worried  sweat.gif

Oh, my bad for didn't type it out clearly. It is not by manual pull up. Is when I use the alarm or the driver door knorb to central locking the door, when re-open it, sometimes it just won't goes up to the correct level, make the door unable to open or only able to open half of it. Kinda pissed off by the knorb problem, must test it like 20 times before I leave SC during the service within this week, LOL.

Alright guys, here is my more details FC report.

RM60 = 340KM = RM0.1764/KM
RM50 = 330KM = RM0.1515/KM
RM60 = 350KM = RM0.1714/KM
RM50 = 120KM (5 out 6 bars left, from full bar drop to 5 bars, that time is around 60-70km been drove, so assume 1 bar can drive for 60km, 6 bars = 360km, and that's RM0.1388/KM)

70% Highway 100-120KM/H
30% City 60-90KM/H

I would say this car can go even more save on petrol if drive smoothly, maybe around 0.13-0.14/km. Now just need to wait until Thursday then I'll go for my first service (already over 1000km but no time for it). After the service, we shall get a more accurate figure for the FC.

bro very hard to do calculation now since the engine hasn't been run in yet..

i suggest u to do the calculation around 3-5k...then it'll be more accurate.. smile.gif
*
I've already REV the engine till 140km/h, so I guess that's why it is quite low FC compare to others that haven't rev. Now already over 1100km mileage but still no time go to SC, need to wait until Saturday, just knew that Thursday is public holiday, change my off day to Thursday totally waste it...

QUOTE(love @ Mar 17 2008, 09:19 PM)
first time pump rm50=172km only...now i rev the car and speed up to 140km/h...i hate to c the check engine light show when i reach 90 or 100kmh..
*
Mine never got the engine light show up when reach 90-100, you better take it to SC for a check.

i called my sa today..he told me that my car will be alloted maybe tmr or on wed..i am kinda doubt his words...is the process of getting number plate long?how long?is there anything to do after getting my number plate?first car here  smile.gif
*
Number plate very easy only. You can ask him fetch you go to JPJ, choose the number you want and pay the money, that's it. If can, then straight away do the car registration on the spot, get your road tax with car plate together. Then you can drive your car away.

M-Line Auto Mountain Blue.

Well a little more details since i got mine last wednesday.....pumped RM52 = 300++ km when the lights came up.

Pumped a second full tank , Rm 54 = got 320 + km.
Didnt really rev....mostly casual driving around city....Fuel economy not too bad....seems like pretty decent so far.

Now it's like 600++ km on mileage....1 more full tank and its time to service.
*
About the same as mine. Actually for FC this car not bad IMO.

QUOTE(kewlbuzz @ Mar 18 2008, 12:19 PM)
hey, anyone booked before 19th not yet received their car? mine manual still waiting maaaaaaa. i hateeeeeeeeeeeeee it. tomorrow will be 2nd month of my booking.
*
Heard from my SA, he said Proton want to clear stock for old Saga, that's why they didn't really produce manual for new saga at the moment, majority for auto first. Dont know true or not but the truth is, manual very less compare to auto.

QUOTE(babylck @ Mar 18 2008, 01:51 PM)
What is the cost of installing the rear disk brake ? If its affordable would really like to install on mine too.. the rear disk brake is from what car ?
*
I wish to know that too.

QUOTE(gantz @ Mar 18 2008, 07:52 PM)
my new saga also won't auto lock after 30 sec... and today i heard ke rok ke rok sound from my engine bay... anyone know the reason??
*
Yeah, mine also will auto lock after 30sec. You also heard the ke rok ke rok sound? I'm not sure mine is from engine bay or what because when I'm driving, it is like coming from the left side of the car. Going to tell SC to check for this issue.

QUOTE(chiggy @ Mar 18 2008, 10:05 PM)
wow
today i went to giant to get something
then saw a blue saga there. I was like hmm... doesn't really look strinking as what we see in the brochure. Then I see another one, a green saga. I was like WOW, damn... it looks much more striking. It looks more metallic compared to the blue one.

Then I ask my SA, is the blue one metallic. He said yeah....
Wow....

I'm trying to get a change to green now
*
Saw green on the road, very shining, too bright to my taste. LOL

My own experience, no matter what kind of service, go to SC, at least half day gone, from morning 7.20am until 12-2pm.

Last time even worst, I wait from 7am till 3-4pm, sleep - wake up - sleep - awake by agent to check car - sleep - awake by agent again - sleep....damn boring over there.

Now, no matter what, 2 cars go, 1 car back home first, wait for call only go collect.

Anyone else have the ke rok ke rok sound? You can't really hear it when driving because of the engine sound, only when you slowing down the car or driving very slow, you'll able to hear it. Want to know anyone have the same issue and already bring to SC for a check?

40k... later put in so many features sure more than 40k
they have to chop this and that and leave the only the necessary
even the auto lock is chopped... yeah, most SA i asked say there is no autolock feature, just the central lock
*
Just on the lock then wait and don't open any doors, after some time it will auto lock back the car.

Yeah, this is my latest FC report. Already drove nearly 1.5k KM still yet to go for 1st service, guess need to drive till nearly around 1.6-1.7k then only free to do service this sat.

Last time light blinking for quite some times already, still drive full car 5 person go supper, go home park the car, next day go to bank, stop, drive, another bank, stop, then only go pump petrol, so total drove more than 10km after light start blinking. So this time, I did the same thing, light blinking still drove for about the same mileage before I go pump petrol. Last time pumped RM50, and I get this figure before I pump petrol.

Vissible Light Transmission should be more than 75% for front and more than 50% for side.

You mean front wide screen can be darker than side? When I tinted my car, the manager told me front widescreen cannot be too dark compare to side and rear widescreen.

Added on March 20, 2008, 1:43 pmDamn...don't know what's happen, my car lock alarm is not functioning.

Just now at mamak, accidently sit on the key (put at back pocket), press the button and car alarm active (hon non-stop), then I quickly go out and press the lock button, can't function, press the alarm, it stop the alarm but then whenever I lock or unlock the car using the remote, no more alarm, just the signal and lock still functioning only.

Anyone have any experience on this? Is it the alarm spoilt or just I accidently de-activate the lock alarm? Now the car is like Myvi, lock and unlock no sound one.....Please help me...

QUOTE(ProX @ Mar 20 2008, 07:57 PM)
guess you need to press both button together to activate it back. Maybe you accidentally deactivated the alarm sound by sitting on remote. Refer to the manual book for more details.

Will give it try and see how but the alarm really noisy (car hon). Or just wait till sat service, ask SC settle it for me. Can't seem to find any information from the manual, maybe I didn't see it thoroughly?

Oh, thanks for the information. Mine is 60% pass through, no wonder people said it is dark, LOL.
