wow...this car really scared me with the amount of petrol consume...
last week monday (21/4) i just got my car. the SA pump only RM20 in the car...i dunno how much mileage before i got it...all i know the next day (22/4) my petrol tank start to blink...the car just go 100km...then i pump on the day itself RM50...the car drove until 242km today (30/4)...i need to pump again today RM40.

Total RM70 = 242km

I'm going crazy already...

i'm driving 1.3 (a) M-line

what is the sound represent of?

why we need that sound?

I think my fc had been stable already, i was surprice im getting 180km for rm30 and the lights haven come up yet might be able to go some more, thats 17cent already might reach the 16cent mark claim by proton. =)

Btw i tried pumping 210kpa according to the manual and the fc sucks,but now im getting this figure(17cent) now is because im pumping 240kpa front and 230kpa back because i see 210kpa the tyres seems a bit flat, and i notice the acceleration also better. I go tyre shop they usually pump 250kpa for me, 210 is just too lil in my own opinion the tyre sidewall seems a bit flat.

for the tire pressure of M-line cars, should follow the "highest/R14 tire type" suggested tire pressure right? the one sticked on the right passenger side of the door.

Btw just opened to have a look at the engine bay, looks a bit dirty with dust and some water marks, but the drive shaft looks nice to me...no rust on it will send it for service tomorrow. Should i do my alignment and balancing at the SC place as well? or find a tire shop outside?

Just took my car back from SC, rusted part cannot be change, guess either we need to send the car out to change ourself to 3rd party parts or just leave it be.

Brought my own "black oil", RM15 for 2nd service.

spend my entire day at the SC yesterday..lucky thing i manage to call my fren to come and pick me up to lepak around.

They fixed my front suspension problem d and now doesn't seems to have any klok klok noise coming out. My door knob problem also fixed and its ok right now with all 4 of the knob comes up and down at the same height.

Plus the SC helped me to fixed and check the whole car wiring system. Apparently the accs shop that help me to install the immobilizer did the wiring wrongly thus cause quite a number of fuse to burn. So i got charged for the fuse they replaced and they help me to rewire it again and double check it as well.

Next i need to listen to the IAFM noise d, seems i'm really unsure abt wat noise should i be listening lol. Btw the SA told me that for FC only after 5k they will take in complaints. If its lesser then that amount they will usually brush it a side as "new engine" break-in period.

Btw i just noticed that my drive shaft is rusted also Since from the post i read here all were unable to get it changed, wat should i do? spray some WD 40 on it? pretty worried that it might break off....

LOL, after 2nd service, my car is better on FC. Pump RM50 before service, go for 200km then go for 2nd service. Get back the car and run until now 330km and I still left 2 bars. The 2 bars will last me for at least another 50km before need to do a pump. The FC? Do the calculation yourself. I'm satisfy with this if really can get 380km.

want to ask if the rusty driver shaft is common to all new BLM or it happens to certain user only? Cause I want to get one, but I am concerned when I looked at the pic posted few pages back... any update on that?

Desperate to place a deposit to book one, but after looking at the rusty drive shaft, now I am considering my option again or wait a little bit longer... any advice?

Actually i'm facing this problem with my BLM very long time already....So annoyed with all these sounds inside my car....

1) whenever i go on some bumpy road....my front passenger door area there will have some metal knocking sound....there are times when even if i pick-up or step hard on my paddle for that extra power also, it'll have this metal knocking or rattling sound around that area....
I have already bring to SC to rectify this problem already, but it doesn't seems to seems to rectify my problem...they put "sepit" some newspaper inside my door trim and also put some sponge around that area....at first it helps...but after a while, the sounds came back again.."

2)I could hear some funny sounds when I step on my brake. It is something like pump sound. I tried to tell the SC but they just simply try pressing the brake and say it's the brake pump sound. Pardon me if i'm wrong, but it does not make sense when you press your brake, you can hear the brake pump sound inside your car. I tried telling the technician who went for the test drive with me that time after he put in the sponge to solve my front passenger door area rattling sound. I ask him to hear the "pump" sound when I step on the brake, he is also suprised as the sound is very loud. Everytime when I step and release the brake, sure got this sound. This is really irratating me. Even my old 10 year old car doesn't have all these irratating sound. Can't proton do better??? Mine is a new car, and with all these sounds here and there.....it is worst than my 10 year old proton satria.

One more thing, when I bring to SC to check the rattling sound for the front passenger area there....after some checking, we found out that when we try knocking on the fender, the sound is the same as the rattling sound or metal knocking sound inside my car. They suspect is the fender, so they try taking out the fender, during the process, guess wad we found out??

One of the screw that ties the fender to the car body, the first one from the headlight, "patah" already. Stupid Proton just use those glue to glue it back. I'll try to draw out how it looks. I was so f**king stunned that time. Is this what we get for RM40k??
