Auto lock will void the warranty? Didn't know that and never heard of this before. In that case, I will not install the auto lock until my warranty is over.

IMO, better you go check it yourself, see which color, how is it IR%, etc. Leave it to SA, later he get the same color but less % compare to the one you choose and grab the money...who knows?

QUOTE(-storm- @ Apr 11 2008, 06:54 PM)
Just go for the M-line, b and n line a lot of stuff dont have. Difference only bout 2k, No ABS but got airbag. imo i prefer ABS as we use it always as to airbags only use it once(touch wood). Thats one of the drawbacks of this car...NO ABS  cry.gif
*
Always use ABS? Dude, I been driving for more than 5 years, I never use the ABS, not even once. Think twice when you drive fast until you need ABS to kick in to stop the car from crashing on others.

QUOTE(boxer07 @ Apr 11 2008, 07:41 PM)
then mind to explain why all oversea car which cost lesser than 30k also got ABS ?

and ABS is a must for all ppl...no matter expert or not  rolleyes.gif
*
Not a must, its only for those people who always drive fast and break emergency. It will not lock your tyre when you break emergency only, do nothing more. Honestly, I don't think ABS really necessary for people.

QUOTE(-storm- @ Apr 11 2008, 11:22 PM)
Not yet fix, ya open 8am one, but if you going branch u better be earlier because ppl will be lining up already by 7.30am.

Branch is the main proton edar sc la, dealer is proton sub give other ppl do one.
*
If I'm not mistaken, EON SC is the main branch while Proton Edar SC is the dealer one.

i agree with you...is just like u learn how to drive manual before u drive auto..u have to learn both transmission...try to think again...how do people drive last time without abs and air bag as well?they also drive like that rite...to me is still not necessary...if u r really that fussy..go get another car...
*
Totally agree. A lot of people thought that having ABS and Air bag means that they will be safe for driving fast. ABS, never use it before and I don't want to use it too. Air bag, if really use it, I doubt it won't hurt my eyes since I'm wearing specs....So conclusion is, I don't want to use any safety feature, no matter what because whenever I use, that's mean I'm in danger.

I've these too:
weird sound = absorber problem, go to SC, they will replace but expect to wait a week for them to order parts - they don't keep stocks. Get them fix fast as according to the SC I went, it WILL GET LOUDER!

Mine get fixed on the spot and got my car back within 2 hours. After that no more complains for the car ever. thumbup.gif

I wonder why everyone getting such as FC. Mine the lowest will be RM0.138, RM0.14. Average around 0.14-0.16 only. Everyday roughly 100km, 20km++ for highway, other consider city road.

You are one of the lucky ones lo, we all get the average Saga  cry.gif

Well, I think it does matter to the way you drive the car too. Get up then straight away on air cond, didn't warm up before go high speed, pick up fast, every gear change above 3k rpm, this all will cause high FC.

Factory defect la, all of us owners here all having almost the same issue. only ching4ever dont have issue to date.

My car do have problem, back left door knorb and ke rok ke rok sound. But all get fixed on the 1st service. Now realize there is another problem, suspect is the brake, need to check. Still can brake without any problem but when emergency brake, there is a kerokkkk sound, quite large though and only happen when fast brake till the car fully stop.

how fast did u always go and how high did u rev????
and road condition nice or not??...or bumpy??
*
100km is the mileage i travel everyday to and fro from work.
Highway 100-140km/h. Other 60-120km/h.

Go to work: highway 20km++ , smooth condition I guess (Malaysia highway... sweat.gif ), another 20km++ consider normal, certain place need to stop the car till around 30-40km/h else the car will fly up to the sky and have few traffic lights.

Back from work: 20km++, the same road. Then another 20km++ old road, mostly bumpy condition, do have smooth road but soon will become bumpy because of lorry everyday doh.gif Worst will be there is hole here and there, need to avoid them every time. Last time heavy rain, didn't on the fog light, drop into one hole, alignment straight away gone, spend me RM20 for it.

QUOTE(LambOfGod @ Apr 19 2008, 05:31 AM)
so guys... how is the car doing for u guys so far?

for me, i love the car till the very last bit. maybe because i used my own money to buy. but besides that, performance wise is superb.

but my FC is bad.. RM 55 for 280+km. manual samo..need to complain kau kau adi.. going for next service soon 4500+ km adi..
*
Everything just fine for my car, but sometimes when doing E-brake or full-brake, will get some sound, hopefully can get it fixed on 2nd service. And yes, I'm same as you, my very first car with my own money! tongue.gif

My FC so far ok only, although I can get 330-360km for RM50 but I'm hoping that it can get more mileage, maybe RM50 for 380-400km will be satisfy me, LOL.

So fast already 4500+ km? How long you have been driving it? Mine nearly 4000km, got my car for 1 month + only.... sweat.gif
