No.
Click the link to know why. Dont let the PC fanboys know about it, they'd go red with anger. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Mar 2 2008, 08:01 PM |

I dont know how vulnerable you on your Mac, or how your download pattern is, but as far as im concerned, i dont even have a single antivirus application on my Mac. Try and tell that to the PC boys.

I don't think you need. Just place extra caution on your activies. My pc is running fine without any antivirus installed, so does my sis' iMac. Though of course, my PC has the higher risk

QUOTE(kwekeugene @ Mar 2 2008, 08:25 PM) Because most of those viruses targeted Windows pc more than Mac (Macs are less likely to be targeted because of low market share and thus a Mac-specific virus could only infect a small proportion of computers). It takes more effort to program a virus on Mac which is Unix based. If you were one of those black hats and wanted to get attention so that some company will hire you, you surely choose a OS that is widely used and also easier to attack, right? This post has been edited by fir3f0x: Mar 2 2008, 09:18 PM |
