TO be updated again when all is complete.

This one has humble hardware inside, but loud outside

___________________________________________________________________________

Updated barebone case pictures.

Completely re-anodized. Look at the details

Entire casing was ripped apart, un-riveted, unscrewed piece by piece before going through the process. Was a 5days work for the workshop guys.

Well gentlemen, if u are wondering if i did it myself, no sadly, i dont know how to. It was done by a Singapore based local workshop. Professionally done.

As for the cost of doing it, its more than the casing.

I hope it doesn't dissappoint as the hardware is not very bombastic like my previous works..

Currently trying to get some red lighting done properly inside.

btw, real life soldam is not that bright also ...

i've worked on it b4 too, will post some pics up here, still digging my database smile.gif

___________________________________________________________

here are some pictures of the soldam we work on mid-last year.

Will update again with clearer close up pictures.

It was a rather cramp system, with little room for touching here & there.
Soldam claimed silent, but we do not think so, it is silent due to the fact that all of the fans are pretty low CFM fans. THe rear of the case at the exhaust is quite noisy.

oops .. off topic liao, maybe i should start another thread with my review on the soldam chasis instead.

gentlemen, anodize is the correct word. actually i'm not very well versed on putting colors on aluminium material.

it is the professional guys at the workshop that did the job.

well, the original case was black. sadly, the original black has to be "stripped" off. it was removed with some chemical. then the aluminium is treated again with other chemical b4 blood is added. when the color is red, it is finally treated again. ah .. this is part of all i know guys. really sorry, wasn't there for the process.

but next case we send in, i will be there to take down the process !!

the gold part is treated a bit differently, it is easier. but its not anodize on the gold part, its something else, can't remember the technical term for that.

Ok guys, i know that the final result wont be very bombastic after reading all your comments. i feel a bit shy to post actually.

hence, i'm posting up this earlier soldam project as supplement first before giving u the final ones of BLOOD.

The SOLDAM indeed has better anodized finishing over the silverstone. even the black anodize from soldam is better quality, better done than silverstone's or Lianli's. They certainly have top-notch finishing.

Here u go :

nice...long time waiting for picture  thumbup.gif

thx man . i'm just waiting for another post b4 i can add more pictures. cheers.

btw all, if u guys dont like or feel that something is not supposed to be like that, voice it out ok. dont paiseh.

my personal opinion on this rig : nothing special except that its re-anodized. there isn't much to see inside like i told u guys earlier, its just some humble hardware inside. and no modding jobs like cutting. re-anodized or re-color is considered modding also right ?

anyway, we've another project on hand at the moment, this one will take a longer while as some of the liquid cooling hardware not arrive yet. our past liquid cooled systems are all monstrous size. the next one is a micro size casing. gonna be cute cos its for a girl. the theme is : Glamour

so long gentlemen .....

** any other smaller projects can be spotted at our blog instead ***

cable management on TJ-09 is definitely like a finger in the ass ( no i never try b4 !! )
our style to counter this part is revert the Harddrive cage the other way round with the connectors facing behind instead. this can be done by simply reversing the 2 slide in bracket. then the bottom cage is removed to accomodate all loose cables. the rear of the case behind the mobo area has little space for hiding cables.

madman -

yes it was darn difficult, alot of small little mod to do like cutting, filling & the new holes for the mobo tray must be very accurate if not, mobo wont slide in well. i'll post some pics for this one here.

rainingzero - the color is darn nice.. so pity i don't have it yet, but just ordered some color dye from usa, dont know how it'll turn out sad.gif

btw, yes, i feel the liquid color is not red enough, its PC ICE brand. under uv lighting its actually quite orange in color & not under uv, its more like pink in color. t

customer actually didn't want much lighting so we never install too much blink stuffs. the finishing of the chasis's red color is infact better in real life than in picture. i notice the red is a bit blur out when picture is resized down.

all in all, i think u guys are a bit dissappointed sad.gif cos i'm.

thanks for ur valuable advices,

i've tried to spray plastic cd-rom / FDD or memory card reader to other colors instead but the finishing usually dont turn out nice sad.gif

the spray tend to "drip" at 1 corner. my spray job really bad man.

so i checked with BLOOD's owner & he's ok with it remaming black, kinda of can match the side intake mesh area & the top mesh area.
hmm...

anyhow, thank u all for watching this one. !!
