Im thinking to buy macbook 13inch.

By refering to Cycom price list, the price for 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo (T7200) model is RM4100. In Penang, before CNY Apple Reseller sell at RM3990. And recently, I go to tht reseller shop, now they sell at ~RM3590. Just wonder, izzit Apple doing promotion or izzit bcuz the shop going to close tht's why they need to puch all their stock? Any1 can tell me abt this?

If the shop going to have close-shop sales, then I must grap 1 macbook oredi.

Then the new laptop will cost higher? Cuz I read thru some review on Penryn-based macbook, there is a significant improvement on battery life but not on performance wise.

@schizophrenic,
Just what is ur budget and is the MB sufficient for ur needs? Don't forget to take into account the ACPP purchase should u intend to get the additional 2 year warranty for ur MB/MBP.

its morenthan sufficient. Trust me.

I used to love bigger screens coz can see more mah, but the weight would be an issue. U won't want to lug 3kg around to coffee bean or starbucks.

MB 2.2 only rm3999? I bought mine late jan @ rm4759! Then what ru waiting for?

What if I upgrade the ram myself and subsequently, if I am sending it to apple, I'll replace the ram i installed with the original ram.

i don't think i'll be getting the acpp.

what is the max ram i can install in each slot?
2gb in each?
total max of 4gb?
no i do not intend to max it.
i just wanna know if i can install 2gb in one slot and the other slot i'll leave the original 512k.
total would be 2.5g

it will only void the warranty of your RAM, not your whole notebook though

Act, there's not much difference in weight between the 13.3 and the 15.4" but every little thing counts *grins*

@schizophrenic,
25k words p/day? p/lifetime usage of ur pc? or what? *grins* 25k words isn't a lot is it? Any Masters thesis is about 20k words oredi tongue.gif

i was referring to the comfort and strain on my eyes with a small screen.
I am unable to give a qualified opinion as I have been using a 15.4" screen.

Anyway it wouldn't make any difference now considering I have just ordered a unit.
