can notebook to be overclock?
how?

nop u cant coz the hardware design doesnt permit such things. The only "overclocking" u can do is to play with the EIST of the proc in the BIOS.. but i dont think that makes sense coz the specs of the notebook often is noted with the processor being at the highest multiplier.

In short, in all our dreams can it be OCed

play with the EIST of the proc in the BIOS << how to do it? I cant find any option about the FSB or multiply in my notebook bios...

yes bro most notebooks now dont have that term, they only have "maximum performance" and etx.. f crap! max performance literally means at the highest multiplier.. so its running at full throttle.

So case closed. No way can a notebook be OCed.

Laptop can be overclocked. Clockgen is a good software used to overclock laptops. My Pentium M 1.6GHz can reach 2.0GHz using clockgen.

bro.. that is different... that still uses multipliers rite? my old P4 can be OCed too, i used another software. But it only affects the multiplier.

If notebooks can't be overclocked what for they make X9000?

i have got no idea, maybe they are moving towards OCing notebooks?

bro...some question to ask u....how to know the PLL for notebook??
i was using Asus F8Sv notebook.....

lolz, the temps would be overkill and the limitation is on the AC-Dc converter because most are only rated at 90w max LOL...

open and see lor... alternatively fire up clockgen and select the pll one by one till one actually works,
