okay, so i have a floor pod, a DS-1, and a behringer overdrive. everytime I use the them, the sound of the DS-1 sounds not so good, and not that warm. but if I use it without floor pod, it sounds really nice.

how do fix this? does the position of the pedal effects the sound?

Yes yes a thousand times yes. There can be alot of difference just based on how your effects units are channeled through.
Try out all possible ways and see which one you like best.
