it should work fine on Win 7, previously I use the wireless xbox360 controller on Win 7 until the receiver decide to die, was working fine b4 the receiver died btw.
Currently using the wired xbox 360 controller, works fine too, too lazy to go find another receiver for the wireless version.

QUOTE(V3nz @ Jun 18 2010, 04:24 PM) The receiver can die? How? I have no idea how it died, the receiver that came with the controller died, then I bought a new receiver which also died recently. I don't see any place selling only the receiver now, so decided to just get the wired one haha This post has been edited by valho: Jun 18 2010, 04:31 PM

QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Jun 18 2010, 07:37 PM) Not really... One of the reason why I bought the wired version is because all my other wireless Microsoft products have a dead receiver... Now scared ady hahha guess it's a common problem for anything wireless from Microsoft

QUOTE(Aura @ Jun 19 2010, 04:34 AM) Yeah.... from belakang.... Not really.... Dead receivers are some problems that users facing when updating their Win 7 OS.... I read from sumwhere from a forum long time ago whereby some users upgraded from XP to Win 7 and before update, it works fine but suddenly went dead after doing a Windows Update..... Anyway, another alternative for ppl who use wireless controllers on Win 7 is to get a play and charge kit to use as a wired controller..... I've tested using the official Microsoft play and charge kit and it works onli on Win 7.... Older OS doesn't support this..... my first receiver died when I was still using XP, only the second one died when I was using Win 7 hmm didn't know the play and charge kit works that way for Win 7, will try it out since I do have the official MS play and charge kit
