after reading this thread....i'm interested to own 1 xbox360....

i need few recommendations...which since the price for console are cheaper then PC version, pls recommend me a console shop at lowyatt with best bargain & geniune product.

can i get the black color instead the traditional white controller?

since i'm on VISTA OS, i just have to plug & play as u guys comments...

i knew that this controller support ALL windows games, how about non-windows produced games? are these controller still can be used to play..e.g THQ, SEGA, KONAMI etc.. hmm.gif

As long as the game itself supports a gamepad as input, I don't see why it won't work. You can even use the controller to play old school windows games like Minesweeper with VIBRATION  rclxm9.gif

cool dude! rclxms.gif

i have few concerns:

if u observed the attached screenshot for PES 2009 game, it featured 2 types of input; Direct Input (DI)& Xinput (XI)

so for the DI controller, we can configure which button we want according to our preferences where else, for XI it will automatically assign the button configuration for us to play. My concern is, can i changed the button configuration as in DI feature?? let say if i play PES 2009 with 2 players...1.xbox360 - 2.rumble pad 2.......can i play by using 2 different controllers?? as mention in the screen shot, if i used XI controllers i cant used other controllers. Please clarify?? yawn.gif

pls help.. sweat.gif

Added on September 23, 2009, 9:38 pmbtw the 360 and the Dual Action both use DI mode and not XI.

i thought 360 interface is XI?? maybe only PES 2009 address 360 as XI.. blink.gif
if its not then is cool! rclxms.gif

anyone would like to clarify on this, whether 360 controller is DI or XI?? hmm.gif

just set the 360 controller as controller 2, the you can use it to play 2 playes game
i dont think there is any other to turn off the controller besides taking off the battery
*
thanks for ur guide for 2 players stuff..

why does Microsoft doesn't think of switch off functionality.. doh.gif
will the batteries compartment become loose in long term usage if oftentimes take off the batteries..

Added on September 28, 2009, 1:56 amanyone pls recommend me a reliable battery charger for my 360 wireless controller OR i should get the play & charge kit?

in long term which device are value for money??

thanks for any suggestions.

Added on September 28, 2009, 2:14 amI wanna share this vital info's with u guys who owns a wireless 360 controller, on how to switch off without taking out the batteries.

2 steps:
---------
1. After completed playing games, eject the wireless receiver.
2. After the receiver has been ejected, the controller's "X" button will be blinking all over. Just leave your controller untouched for 15-20mins then
it will turn off automatically.

Finally relieved about this issue. Although this method might take some battery usage instead of taking off battery slot often times might loose it compartment.

**Above situation are based on my experience which works 100% thumbup.gif

lol..i'm also can't understand why microsoft dun make a on/off button for the controller..

anyway, just bought a play and charge kit today...
feels good, but it's damn hot when fully charged..
kinda scared it will blow off someday..

it's too expensive also anyway..but i did rather buy it rather than buy a rechargable AA battery..lol..just i dun like it..

why whould u so trouble to off it?
finish playing then just leave it there..it will just off in 10~15mins...
now i'm using play and charge kit..i dun even need to worry about battery problem..
finish just recharge..plus even when i'm charging..i still can play with it...
*
Thanks 4 da comment bro.. rclxms.gif
How much u bought the play and charge kit? and where?
Is the charger compatible for PC & XBOX console?

I thought of getting ENELOOP battery & charger cuz, i heard quite good reviews for long term-usages.. rolleyes.gif

in lowyat...
have to say very expensive...lowest number in 3 digit...guess yourself..

yes, compatible for pc..and it's actually used for xbox version..

it just me that dun like AA battery...if u want to go for it..
i say it's fine too..

but tell u this first..
in malaysia, the play&charge kit mostly are not manufactured by microsoft..
they are china made...
but as long as they dun boom,i'm fine with it..

So, which is recommended? Wired or wireless?
A) based on ur budget.

How long is the battery can last long on wireless? durable bo?
A) depends on ur usage lor..the more u play the quicker the battery gets hungry..i suggest u to buy eneloop re-chargeable batteries for best value & can save money too.

My bed distance to pc also 2meter, wasn't it better just take wired one?
A) again..depends on ur budget & preference.

and in market, cheapest for wired is RM90, wireless leh?
