Pretty sure that's a fake.

1) The nubs on the analog stick isn't in its correct position, it should be a perfect "+" position. The top nub is off center and they also look bigger than it should.

2) An Xbox 360 controller should not have a warranty sticker over the top right screw hole, at least mine didn't and everyone I know of who has one doesn't either.

3) The licensing sticker is suppose to be black, not grey/white.

4) The stickers on the back isn't stuck on in a perfect margin, an original 360 controller will have the stickers stuck on perfectly without looking off center.

5) The USB cable end must have a break-away cable but instead yours is a ferrite choke.

Hope that helps. smile.gif

Only reason I don't like the wireless version is.... latency. I mean, it's not bad but there was no reason not to get a wired 360 controller since it's so cheap when I bought it.

from Microsoft website wireless and wired controller can used with pc
*
The Xbox One controller can ONLY be used in WIRED MODE on the PC, for now, period.

Microsoft may or may not introduce a wireless USB dongle in the future, but it's likely they will considering Phil Spencer will have a talk during the Windows 10 event in Jan 2015. Since Windows 10 will finally (again) be gaming focused, then it all makes sense for MS to introduce a wireless USB dongle for the Xbox One controller during then.

In the US right now, recently bought the Xbox One controller during Black Friday on Amazon for $40 and free shipping.
Have tested the Xbox One controller on PC, works exactly like the 360 controller with no driver issues as long as the game has 360 controller support.

I like it better than the 360 controller though. It's more ergonomically comfortable (especially if you have the wireless 360 and have that utterly stupid battery pack on the back) and the Dpad is actually usable. Many people may still like the triggers on the 360 more, but I always found it uncomfortable and it has a tendancy to clip my skin. The One controller has none of these issues.

The downside is the thumbsticks can be a too small for the majority of people though. No idea why they shrunk the size, because the 360's thumbstick size was just nice. I remedied that by purchasing a KontrolFreek Alpha for the thumbsticks, it's a startling improvement.

Finally, the rumble motors for the Xbox One's triggers does not wok for games that are ported from the Xbox One itself (Ryse and Dead Rising 3). This means that the Xbox One's driver is basically emulating the entire 360's driver, which is why the feature is missing despite both games having that feature enabled in the control.ini configs. Hope MS can fix this soon.

So far, loving the Xbox One's controller. Recommended purchase for anyone looking for a new controller on the PC and it's time to forget the 360 controller.

me too, still waiting someone sell it.  sad.gif

Uhm... the Xbox One controller is already in Malaysia for over a year. blink.gif

Just buy the controller itself and buy a micro-USB cable of your own. Then just download the driver, connect the controller and play away.

Infact, I actually do not recommend the Xbox One + Cable pack due to the stock Xbox One cable being rather questionable in quality. The micro USB head is too large and has no strain relief. Know that micro-usb is one of the worse connectors ever made, it's horribly fragile and last thing you want is to have the connector itself break and be stuck in the controller.

So, get an ordinary Xbox One controller from any game seller (plenty in LYN here), go buy a micro usb of your own.

Read the previos page for my impressions on it.

I have an extra if you want, barely used (like less than 50 hours of gameplay time with it).

micro USB, any suggest model for this?
or just buy those cheap cheap item is enough?  smile.gif

Doesn't actually matter which you buy. The only things to look out for are length (obviosly) and the head on the micro-usb connector not being too thick/large.

Offer me. But will have to wait until after the 13th of Jan as I'm still in the US currently.

just to share my experience:

i've been using logitech F510 for 1-2 years, the controller is pretty ok for me until it wear and tear, the condition is worst:

the left analog stick rubber has worn and black dust came out.

the gamepad underneath does feel sticky, last time was smooth rubbery type.

i think is the time to retire the F510 however I find it still usable though.

anyone can differentiate the x360 and xbox one controller, handling, comfort, etc..

Xbox One wireless adapter will be launching later this year. So for those still on the fence, you really don't have to be anymore.

My impressions, just 3 pages back:

I remedied that by purchasing a KontrolFreek Alpha for the thumbsticks, it's a startling improvement. One other minor complain that I have are the bumper (L and R) buttons which are placed a little too far apart from the triggers, its pressing point is also higher than on the 360 controller. I do not have long index fingers (I do have rather small hands), so the fact that the bumper buttons are a little more forward makes it harder for me to press on.

Finally, the rumble motors for the Xbox One's triggers does not wok for games that are ported from the Xbox One itself (Ryse and Dead Rising 3). planning to buy wired 360 controller for pc.. is there any common problems that i should know?
the xbox one controller kinda expensive for me..xD

None really. I always felt that the wired 360 was better than the wireless not just because of latency, but also because of not having that stupid battery hump on the back.

Go for it.

Lol. $25 for a wireless adapter.
Obvious rip-off is obvious rip-off.

*EDIT*
The adapter will only work with Windows 10. Ok MS, you want people to love you but you still pull all these shitty strings to force people to jump ship. doh.gif

Phew.

Too much excitement at E3.

But here's the Elite Xbox One Controller (because you know, MS thinks that you're noobs if you don't buy it)

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

This is very much like SCUFGaming's mods, except now it's officially handled by MS.

Price? $150 for the controller only.
Yup. Crazy expensive.

Also it'll be working on Win10 only. That means possibility of getting drivers on Win8/8.1 or 7 may not come officially.

The adapter releases in "Fall", so a few months after Win 10. Shouldn't take long to come here, but rather how much will it be when it comes here.
It's $30 in the US, but expect to pay near RM200 for a stupid piece of USB receiver when it comes here. doh.gif

Maybe you are lucky..
I google xbox one controller and the suggestion add the  breaks easily. it seems a lot of people reported the left analog is turning to the left and some rattling sound.. im about to buy ps4 dual shock 4 controller but as xbox 360 controller user,i much prefer the xbox..

What do you think?
*
Well, it's not like the DS4 is completely free of defects either. Search up the peeling analogue sticks, it's still not fixed actually.
