What I'm saying is that there are actually 2 types of branding for Microsoft peripherals.....

i can't remember the right analog for, but in PES, u can cuztomized/mapping ur own button, so that u can choose which layout suits best for u

If you're buying the first xbox360 wireless controller, you must buy the PC VERSION, becoz you need the wireless transmitter. For the next wireless controller, you can buy the console version, which doesn't comes with the transmitter/receiver.

All Xbox 360 controllers have white start and pause button (this depends on the colour of the casing but in this case, it is white)...... The colour of the controller doesn't determine whether it is marketed for PC or console platform...... It is the packaging that determines that..... As in the posted picture in my post, both of the controllers are identical in every way except the packaging and the additional wireless receiver for PC.....

I've the wireless one and wired one. Been using the wired one for X360 and PC, performs quite well beside Street Fighter IV cause the design is not meant for this kind of game.
PC or Console, they are effectively the same.

I'm even more of a cheapo.... I just buy the wireless receiver then use the controllers from my Xbox 360 to use for PC and vice versa.....

The onli pain I encounter is to re-bind the controllers when u change from PC to Xbox 360 and vice versa.....

Yes, from what I've read, the console version is quite cheaper than for PC version..

jz think of anybody would like to try this...

if you have a xbox 360 wireless joystick for pc..(with the usb receiver,u can connect up to 4 joystick at once,but only with xbox 360 controller,u dun even nid to buy another receiver,jz the joystick is enuf)

then if you also have xbox 360 wireless guitar controller..
i played with xbox 360 guitar hero b4..if i'm not mistaken..xbox version do not need receiver but straight connect to the console..
would it work the same way?

since xbox version wireless joystick can connect to pc if you ady have the receiver,and with that,u totally playing the joystick as pc version..
