if you want black you can buy the xbox360 version, then pair with your receiver

make sure the packaging is microsoft's original packaging, you can check online to see how it looks like. otherwise, like yanhui said, buy from reputable shops.

hey guys, anyone knows how to fix the xbox controller? it seems that my L1 button is not so sensitive already after prolonged sessions of FIFA12

need to press higher up on the button only can press, otherwise like cant press already

No warranty already bro. Nevermind, already fixed it DIY with friend's help
Opened it up and found out the button contact no good already, just added some spacers in between, now works like a charm

yes, if not mistaken can connect up to 4 controllers at one time

i like the black colour one, dirt cant be easily seen. Currently using the normal white one, can see all the dirt marks everywhere

1. yes you can use the xbox360 controller from xbox360. but you would need to get the usb receiver.

2. as Langiler said, yes you can use AA batteries, or rechargable battery pack, like the one from the 'play and charge' kit.

I don't think you can...the holes only can be used to charge the battery via usb, other than that it still functions as a wireless controller.

I only know about the wireless one, coz I had both ori and ciplak receiver before
Ori one is written microsoft logo on the receiver, while the ciplak one will write xbox360.
About the controller, microsoft ones will be red in colour. others probably in other colours like green.
Probably when you install the drivers, you wont run into any problems with the ori one, fake ones maybe.
Other than that, about the feel of the controller, etc, i'm not too sure

Maybe you can try checking your controller buttons config in Fifa?
shouldn't be problem with the controller, since you say it's working in the menu and also in other games.

I think now original bundle one should cost about RM169-189. I've seen some recently now change to black controller, but still the red packaging.

Not sure if anyone sells the original Microsoft receiver only. But I think there are people selling compatible ones, I bought one before. Quite ok too, can be used. Just that installation of the driver is a bit of a hassle

Not sure, didnt try the web installer. Installed driver from the CD that came with the receiver.
