Just bought a xbox wireless controller. Wondering what kind of rechargeable battery brand you guys using?

bought 360 wired controller from amazon.co.jp just to play mgs on pc.

anyone use any charging base on their xbox 360 controller? i think my energizer rechargeable batts degrade dy, can only play for 2-3 hours then need recharge. pissed.

any charging base to intro?? or is it possible to buy eneloop batts and charge using energizer charger?

go with eneloop, I bought 8 pieces last year (the white color) had no problem with it.(one of my better investment ) Should work as long as the charger charge niMH batteries.

mind asking how long can it last after full charge?

Usually about 12 hours , sometimes more than that.

Uhm... the Xbox One controller is already in Malaysia for over a year.

Just buy the controller itself and buy a micro-USB cable of your own. Then just download the driver, connect the controller and play away.

Infact, I actually do not recommend the Xbox One + Cable pack due to the stock Xbox One cable being rather questionable in quality. The micro USB head is too large and has no strain relief. Know that micro-usb is one of the worse connectors ever made, it's horribly fragile and last thing you want is to have the connector itself break and be stuck in the controller.

So, get an ordinary Xbox One controller from any game seller (plenty in LYN here), go buy a micro usb of your own.

Doesn't actually matter which you buy. The only things to look out for are length (obviosly) and the head on the micro-usb connector not being too thick/large.

Yeah, any cable would do. I use a 5 meter braided cable since my PC is hooked up to the TV.

It's so damn easy to convert from wireless to wired, just jump a 5v supply to the controller and connect it to your PC.

just to share my experience:

i've been using logitech F510 for 1-2 years, the controller is pretty ok for me until it wear and tear, the condition is worst:

the left analog stick rubber has worn and black dust came out.

the gamepad underneath does feel sticky, last time was smooth rubbery type.

i think is the time to retire the F510 however I find it still usable though.

anyone can differentiate the x360 and xbox one controller, handling, comfort, etc..
