QUOTE(toottut89 @ Feb 3 2010, 09:02 PM) Not neccessary. Just buy TESCO Alkaline...4 biji RM2.90. But if you are heavy gamer, probably better to get rechargeable in the long run. If casual gamer like me, the alkaline will do. My controller still working after 2 weeks for my XBOX360, currently using Energiner alkaline.btw, just to re-iterate all those questions: 1) The XBOX360 wired controller is THE SAME as the XBOX360 controller for Windows. Can be used interchangebly between PC and XBOX360. 2) Drivers for the controller are provided for Windows version. The console version does not include the CD driver, but you can download from MS website. Drivers only needed for WinXP. 3) For Windows Vista and 7, you don't need to install the drivers coz the OS already has the drivers...you just plug it in and the Windows will automatically setup the drivers. 4) The XBOX360 wireless controller for PC comes with an extra receiver which is a MUST for PC without one(or you won't be able to use it). However, if you intend to get 2nd or more controller, just buy the XBOX360 wireless controller for console because only 1 receiver is needed. For the console, you can also use the Windows wireless controller, without the receiver becoz ur XBOX already has one. Basically: Wireless XBOX360 controller for Windows = controller + receiver + CD driver Wireless XBOX360 controller for XBOX360 = controller only |

QUOTE(sotong168 @ Feb 8 2010, 09:45 AM) so even console shops are also stop selling wired one? should get two last time i think i said it before. There is ONLY ONE GAMEPAD you should get for Windows...and it's the XBOX360 controller. It is the DE FACTO standard for Windows gaming, including support and mapping. You can plug in a Logitech, but it's like trying to plug in a PlayStation DualShock to an XBOX.as a replacement, is logitech good? compatible to many pc games? Hos are you going to remember doing the combo Y,Y,A,X,B,X->Y->A-><-B in the heat of the game using the Logitech with all black buttons and different button coding?? |
