That was some heart-breaking moment for the kid.

i dont deny the fact the situation was morally bad for the emotional growth of the child, but lets not be a hypocrite here, there are aplenty of kids out there left unsupervised that really needs our help, even not by materialistic means.

Hey it's christmas for them and they really waiting for that day to get what they want.

IF say your parents promise to give you a car on your birthday. When on your birthday, your parents gave you a key and ask you to " look outside " Your 1st impression will be a car in front of you but instead you see a bicycle in font of you. How you feel? Then your parents said the key is for locking your bicycle.

Lol!!! EXACTLY! Good example Christmas for those kids over that part of the world is Huge and Major...it might be their only chance to hope and wish for what they want...it's really heartbreaking for them for a Christmas to turns out like that...

if u kenot mess with your own kid(s), whats the point of having them?

yeah. we cant just interfere in other people's life like we are better than them. i hate this kind of nosy attitude, but when it comes to other stuffs, we refuse to donate.

Since its Christmas, the kid should get what he wants. Though the parents believe it is a good education lesson, most of us would say no also.

So, if u all disagree with their method of teaching the kid not to peek, what would you u suggest? not give him anything at all?

aiya, maybe the dad later give..maybe its juz a prank..juz to make him tears, then later give him..i know ive kena b4 when i was standard 2 or 3..dad bought me the HotWheels track set, but inside only pensil box, rubber all those stationery stuffs..later i throw the box to my dad then i cry.. but later my mom gave me the HotWHeels...damm cun

What happens later nobody knows lar...but based on what we are shown on the video, the kid deserve some sympathy for god sake...pranked that way on Christmas from his parents...have his hope and dream crushed on the same day...

What if the parents planned to do that. The family want to buy him a XBOX 360. Then his bro record it and upload it to youtube. When many people watch it and feel pity, the people want to help him get a Xbox 360. When Jonathan really do get a Xbox 360 from good people, their parents save money.

well once i got the chance to get 3rd x360 after 2 month of helping at coffee shop and end up only got $100 while that thing cost me $699... felt like rip off but i believe she forgot bout it and i don't complained bout it...

But for sure i will not only cry but probably turn into super saiyan when my parent do that to me... also happen once and end up got what i want hehe
