Frankly, I watched it too but ONCE.

When compared with Appleseed, seems like Appleseed animation is more vivid while this one is more dull and rusty. Could have been the sombre effect the storyline trying to tell us about what's happening to a closed-door policy did to Japan but somehow I find that Appleseed seemed much better.

But with all the CGI, I'd say I'd swear by Otomo Katsuhiro's latest (almost) creations, Project FREEDOM. Damn nice.
