Take this with a grain of salt, but there isn't a US "TBA" in this page: http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/data/943692.html

Of course I'm hoping there would be an English version. tongue.gif

This is one of the most epic game. Too bad that it is not availabe ever in the states.

Only way you can get it is playing the translated version done by contributor. They managed to translate all the scripts, pictures and videos. In fact, the translation is so well done that it looks very official.

You would need a flash kart to play the translated version though. And it is truly a very epic game. The best, I would say its better than Zelda.

Zelda = You hack and slash in a dungeon
Soma Bringer = You hack and slash in a dungeon.

What I feel about the Zelda series is it involves more puzzle solving than hacking and slashing.

Well, an english fan-translation certainly reduces the chance of an official US release. :/

still seem different to me at least.

zelda emphasizes more on puzzles and not only on battles.

soma bringer is like diable kind of game. i dun think u will think of zelda when people wanna know hack and slash game.

You got a point there though, I have yet to encounter much puzzle in the game.

But i dont think english fan-translation will reduce the chance of an official US release.

Case in point - PSP Monster Hunter. They had full translation but the US release is slated for this year. so..

The English fan translation is about 90% finished, and many would say it is very playable even without the other 10%.
