i got an elite , so there is Optical/RCA Audio adapter and HDMI cable.
if i connect the console to tv with just HDMI cable, do i need the optical/rca audio adapter?
the normal ways to connect to tv using the hd cables rite red, yellow, white etc....yellow-video red and white-audio...if im using the hdmi cables is it include both function video and audio with just one cable? just connect the hdmi cables console and tv then walla ( video and audio )
cause im planning to get the plasma tv next week...which plasma tv is the best?

HDMI is te best output for video and audio. So you still want use your red and whit for sound? Why plasma instead of LCD?

Get Philips 37" FUll HD 1080p LCD tv. Quite cheap for a full HD LCD tv, around RM4600.

If you're going to use the TV's speakers, then yeah, you can use the HDMI cable to transfer both the sound and video. But if you're planning to use a separate receiver without HDMI input, then you'll still need the TOSLINK cable.
