We know one is not a true DC fan if they felt nothing (mehh?) out of this trailer. I mean seriously? It's the freakin Justice League on the big screen, man.

The decision to go with the 52 team was a wise one also.

Also much a appreciated that they didn't tease Supes and GL in this. Just keep em inside the drawer till November​, WB.

Yeah, that's the thing, even myself...I don't think I'm ready to see that on screen yet.

It's just, I haven't seen enough of Superman really in his element. If they jump into the evil end, it would just feel disjointed, to me at least.

I really liked the JL trailer and I think it highlighted many of the characters really well, especially Aquaman. I'm wondering how they will top this especially since Superman isn't featured yet...or who knows, they might not feature him at all until the movie.

Zack says that Superman plays a big role in the movie but so far, no sign of this yet. I guess they are keeping Supes' involvement under wraps and they're doing a pretty good job about it.

Actually the fans are quite vocal about superman not being in JL's marketing push. For many, superman IS the reason why they would want to see the film

They can keep the plot and villain under wraps, but not superman

Reshoots is indeed happening or has happened and they have to digitally remove Henry Cavill's facial hair which he can't shave because he needs it for his Mission Impossible 6 shoot which is happening at the same time. And yeah no changes to the release date.

Zack Snyder’s days as the primary creative engine of the DCEU appear to be coming to a close. Reports indicate the Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice director will be taking on a much smaller role going forward, and may end up stepping aside altogether as DC rethinks its cinematic approach.

Snyder’s vision of the DC universe has been polarizing from the start. His initial DC outing, Man of Steel, saw a version of Superman ravaged by self-doubt and a strong suspicion of humanity, values instilled in him by his well meaning but overprotective father, Jonathan Kent. Batman V Superman was even more divisive, showcasing a paranoid, lethal Batman engaged in a dark, morally complicated battle with the somber Kryptonian. The latter movie’s poor reviews seemed to indicate change was likely.

That change is apparently here. Mashable is reporting that Snyder and his wife, producer Deborah Snyder, will take a backseat in the DCEU’s creative braintrust going forward. The pair will likely still receive producing credits on future films, but the creative direction of the movies will be dictated by DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns. Johns is reportedly working closely on the future of the DCEU with Joss Whedon, the Avengers director who stepped in to finish the upcoming Justice League following the tragic death of Zack Snyder’s daughter earlier this year; Whedon will start work on a Batgirl film next year. Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and upcoming Batman helmer Matt Reeves will also reportedly be part of Johns’ DC Films braintrust. David Ayer — whose Suicide Squad was largely viewed as an extension of Snyder’s aesthetic — is also likely to part ways with the studio, which could leave his announced Gotham City Sirens film in an uncomfortable limbo.
