If you can wait for a few more months, then go for the Jasper set. you want to try your luck, then you can go take the falcon.

Don't you know Jasper will come out in August? So how many month more to wait? Is either he can wait or go for the falcon. And Gears Of War 2 is 1 of the best title and will give the best shocking exp for new user on 360.

If the Jasper can make slighty difference and avoid 3 rod problem a bit, I'll still wait for the Jasper set because the design for Falcon to reduce CPU more then GPU is stupid.

GT4 is only 1 of your best title up there ( exclude GOW 2 ). Sieble sieble..... Pity you.... Find more lar..... Not all ppl like racing ok........

Im sure Siebel did here before Too Human, Farcry 2, Dead Space, Army Of Two....... And out of the 4, 2 of them were racing.

You telling me MS spent a lot of time and money researching a chipet to make the console better then researching and redoing the whole motherboard which will solve the problem for good?

This is call marketing product strategy. Instead investing money to create a new motherboard ( which is taking the old 1 and just redo it since the have already a base line ), they went and just try to reduce the size of the chip and which also reduce their cost but make more profit. In time, they will lose trust from customer but they have the money already they want to.

Creating a new motherboard which you must spent a lot in researching and they are scared they are not able to cover the whole life cycle cost. This will make both party win win. But instead Ms wants to win and you lose. So in the end of 360, Ms scared that Cost > Profit. So they must make more money.

And to recover the lost of so much money ( they put 1 billion into warranty claims ), they just reduce 1 tiny thing which will reduce the cost and sell at the same price, they still get back a bit more from what to usually earn.

We play games we use more GPU then CPU. You can try use an electronic termometer and measure the heat on GPU and CPU and see how much difference.
