That sums it all. And soundstream was never known for their component speakers anyway. In the past, their Reference amplifiers in the 90s, Tarantula and Human Reign were good amplifiers. Due to the ever popular tarantula spider logo, they have decided to use the spider to market even their lowest range of products. Same goes for brands like Orion, that used to be really dominating with their HCCA models.
Several brands that retain a more consistent quality in their line are Rockford Fosgate, Focal, Diamond Audio, Zapco ... to name a few.
