Why do they ask for bank statement to open an account?

One major disappointment for HLeBroking is you cannot place a Good Till Date order. Correct me if I am wrong please. There are several brokers with that ability. Overall, Malaysia is still in the dinosaur age when it comes to order placement.

2. actually when you orders have been matched, they will email you later on... at night after the end of business day... so i never really searched for it.

4. you transferred to your trust today pass cut-off? i think you might only see it on monday if i'm not mistaken... sorry... i don't use maybank to transfer. using logic to deduce... your funds will only be process the next business day... so... if it's processed tomorrow, then monday will be the day you can see it?

5. it doesn't auto debit from your trust account. doesn't work that way. you still need to do your own settlement. trust account is just putting money there and giving trading limit. you still need to 'settle' your contracts.

Regarding the HLeBroking VALUeTrade account, is it compulsory to bank-in money into VALUeTrade account one day in advance before can start buying shares? How about selling? Need to have money inside the trading account also?
