DIRECT is better. Can go AGM/EGM , can apply IPO , receive dividend directly and annual reports.

As for the rate, it is negotiable.

1) Send screen shot to your dealer representative for action.

2) Instruct dealer representative to perform cash withdrawal. You provide your bank account no to them.

I already register for hlebroking but my hometown is too lousy, they need to send to penang for registration. They say they will call me for confirmation. However, already 1 week, nobody has called me ==

Anybody face the same problem??

What service do they provide - stock tips ? Amesecurities is pretty good service to me ... I've called or email them many time and they always response fast. Emails response within an hour or 2, and sometimes even faster.

I think so far, all the brokers I've had the pleasure of dealing with have provided good service.
Although it must be mentioned I've only dealth with Maybank, Jupiter and Hong Leong.

What I meant was that I never encountered rude or incompetent staff.
All were friendly and able to understand my instructions.

A lot of other brokers just leave you to explore yourself. Answering email, answering phone, all those are normal service and if a broker cant even do it, should ask them close shop.

As for HLeBroking, they hand hold me on how to do trading. They provide classes FOC for new traders to learn the rope of online trading. Every now and then, they will also have classes on how to use charting. All these are extremely useful for me.

AmeSecurities has assigned a broker to each of their online trading clients but I never did bother to use his services cos I perfectly capable to doing everything online myself.
