I've a step down adapter for US appliance but only up to 50w, enuf?

Wii requires 12VDC, 3.8A . by formula P=VI=(12)(3.8)=45.6 W.
Hence by calculation it consumes 45.6 W. By using 50W is not advisable. for safety reason , a head margin of 20-50% power is required. 45.6+20%=55 W +/-1 W. find one above 60W if possible.

by using 50W, operating in this condition yr transformer/adaptor may built up heat very quickly. if you want to do a little experiment get a 50W & 200W adaptor and power up for 3 hours and feels the heat .
