They still accept to deliver my DVD last times (that is a few months ago sweat.gif )
but I don't know why they can't accept harddisk... maybe they afraid your harddisk full of pirated software/video or even nudity data...

Most probably of fragility and claiming part after that. People could be posting "spoilt" HDD and claimed that poslaju negligence on handling it and claim money. Another possible reason would be something as mentioned above, distribution of pirated goods. Even companies like nationwide would ask what is in that CD/DVD you've wanted to post. Experience it once when posting something to a friend.

i. HDD is a fragile piece of hardware, thus when it's damaged, most people blame Poslaju. While the fact is the one whose to blame is the seller himself. The seller knows that a HDD is very fragile. Thus, he should've packed it nicely, not with just a tiny paper. [Some seller in LYN do this, not worth mentioning his name]

ii. When you know you're going to use Poslaju to send a HDD, don't tell them / write on the paper that the parcel contains a HDD. Lie to them. Tell them / write on the paper about something else.

I've been using Poslaju to post 5 desktop HDD's & 7 notebook HDD's so far and none of them is damaged.
Why you asked? Because i packed it nicely. smile.gif

All sellers dont pack their hdd properly. When i posted today some 2 scsi hdd they charged me rm20.xx omfg! Just cuz i use a large box with lots of packaging they tell me they have to add volume to the charge... last time they never had this damn volume nonsense... n last time they never asked what the item was...

Use the bubble plastic to wrap with it. Then put it in a small box & wrap it nicely. All should be fine...

When go to the poslaju counter..... "Apa dalam?" "Computer punya barang" icon_rolleyes.gif

got same problem but with Handphone stuff. they asked me what item inside it. i said just HP accessories and the officer told me they wont accept HP for posting. weird. 2nd time tough - maybe for safety reason or probably got a case - so they decide not allowed it.

ya. u just can lie to them but at your own risk if they send your item. smile.gif

should post the parcel like the link below. next time dont wait till they ask you, just put there hardware component and they wont ask you anything.... and dont use big box for it.... you can cut out the size of box slightly bigger than the item (dont be lazy tongue.gif )
