hi i wana ask something regarding with my Mobo Northbridge ! duno wats wrong after i put in my 8800Gt in my computer the northbridge damm hot and the south bridge as well how to deal with this ploblem !

bro,
this is becos ur GFX produce heat and the heat trap inside... this happen to me before when i first use 88gts. the amount of heat trap inside and make the air inside very hot.. as u know the chipset is cool using inside air... if the inside air already reach 40C then how it going to cool the chipset. thus what i do when i have this is i use evercool Fox 1 and Fox 3 1 is front intake that direct to my chipset and 1 is blowout which i put beneath my GFX direct blow the hot air out instead trapping inside |

You must know that the 8800GT produced much heat.. your system air condition might become hot and that cause your chip heat dissipation become inefficient. You might install/improve cooling system to cycle the air in your casing.

Give all the specs, and if can the SS of your casing interior... I assume that your casing have bad airflow

ur proc is the main heat producer + ur new 8800gt also produce alot of heat = therefore ur com grow more hot.btw ur p4 is really bottlenecking ur gpu.better change it soon
