the pictures especially the matrade looks like artist impression rather than the real thing!!!

Shots #2, #3, and #4 are HDR images, that's the reason why they have a somewhat different look. smile.gif

i nvr liked HDRs because they tend to expose alot of artificial colors but ur HDRs are very well-processed to achieve a balance between natural and surreal feel...great shots!

Thanks! I think "believable" is the key. smile.gif

Just want to ask, what software are you using for these HDR shots?
*
I usually merge the source images with different exposures using Photoshop (PS) because it aligns the images better. Then I'll tone-map the 32-bit .HDR image generated by PS using Photomatix. I'll finally fine-tune the image again in PS. Hope this helps. smile.gif

Thanks smile.gif

Still need to learn loads on it but soon! tongue.gif Previous camera didn't have bracketing option so HDR was out of reach. Now should be able to give this a shot.
*
Good luck bro. Do share with us when you get some good ones. smile.gif

i tried to use merge to HDR in PS-CS3.. but the output so sux after merge... the color so pale eh?..then after tat i dunno how to adjust the local adaption curve =.='' so the whole picture look so bored.. sad.gif

got any good tips?

u using photomatix? need to pay one right? or is there any better plug in for photoshop?
*
I don't do the local adaption in photoshop. I simply save the merged file in a 32-bit .HDR file and let PhotoMatix do the tone-mapping. Yeah, PhotoMatix is not free, but can try out the trial version for free. Most of the time, after tone-mapping using PhotoMatix, one needs to do some curving-tuning and masking in PS to get the best out the image. Hope this helps! smile.gif

oo.. photomatix sad.gif

wondering PS can do it well or not.. thx for the tips anyway wink.gif

I think with some careful adjustment in PS, you should be able to get some acceptable HDR also.
