Added on December 17, 2008, 10:47 amQUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 16 2008, 10:56 PM) I bought a Dlink DIR-655 router from PC fair and it works great with my PS3. Previously with my old router while playing COD4 sure keep getting sign out of PSN. now now longer. I just default set everything. No need port forwarding etc.. It might work even better with port forwarding, i dunno. Now my COD4 multiplayer like really nice and fast. No more lag. I connect using LAN cable not wireless since my PS3 is nearby the router. idoblu May I know what was your previous router brand and model number? And which ASDL modem u use. Thanks in advance. QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Jan 31 2009, 09:57 PM) Hi koonfoon, thanks for your help, i tried following the steps you gave but it still cannot be set to NAT2, did i miss anything? i now can only play MGO, and cannot play we 2009, which it will show "unable to transmit UDP port 3658". what should i do now? thanks. I am using Linksys router..never used Riger router before...so unless I have a closer look at the configuration page...i couldn't tell what exactly wrong with your setting Did u set your PS3 to static IP?? ( U need to have a static IP for port forwarding) And did u set your PS3 static IP out the range of auto assign IP (DHCP) of your router?? (router will re-assign difference IP to your PC and PS3 when power OFF and ON again...but usually they have range... example: 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.50....... if that the case...set your PS3 static IP out the range of auto-assign IP). Hope this will help This post has been edited by koonfoon: Feb 1 2009, 02:11 PM

QUOTE(AstonCheah @ Feb 2 2009, 11:44 PM) Hi KoonFoon, still not able to change the NAT type to 2... here are some picture of my setting...hope it can give you some ideas... thanks anyway. Maybe u set your PS3 static IP to 192.168.1.50. (outside the range of 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.34) But u have to re-configure port forwarding again.. If that doesn't work...then i have ran out of idea. Last solution...change the router... Your current router is free supplied by TM??
