i have demm serious problem.i bought dlink 2640T two mont ago.
first month like in the heaven faster surfing..smooth on9 gaming..
demm..i miss that day..

when 2nd month appear,prob is beginning.like h*LL i think sometimes.
actually dunno to me what the real prob is .my isp provider @ modem.
so,i decide to get new modem suite with pc & ps3.working great worth
the RM surely..

plz advice & guide me .very nOOb with networking.

im thinking of buying a new router because my dir300 seem cant be use to play mw2 online....

so which router u recommend for me to buy?
price range from rm50 to around rm150...

dir-300 do work with ps3.....

im having a lot of problem at first, turn out my firmware is 1.02..which is not the latest, then i upgrade to 1.04...now can play online flawlessly..even Modern Warfare 2...so dir-300 is confirm can use with ps3....

I am using D-Link DIR-300 and it is working great. only my internet connection not so great

Everytime I enable my PS3 media server . It will immediately say , the " The PS3 has been disconnected from the media server " . After that , all internet connection is lost and the internet disconnects on my router .

I've no idea why this is happening and I hope you guys have some clue as to whats going on

I'm using a wireless connection from my PS3 Phat , to a WRT54G

i'm using Linksys WRT54G v5 router and all i needed to do to get it working was to port forward BOTH UDP/TCP (i think i used port 5001) and to select "force network interface" (wireless connection on PC) in the media server options.

i assume on the PS3 you have Enabled search for Media Server as well.

what firmware is your linksys router? coz that model has issue on upnp and media server...

My firmware version is Firmware Version: v1.02.0

i using belkin N+ connect all ok for ps3 console but try to multiplayer at codmw2 it hang at connect to match making server . . .cannot access ??why . .? can all taiko help bo ? i am new at ps3 slim . .

Hi I just have a quick question and need some advice.

Currently my ISP is Streamyx and my internet speed is 1 mbps. I saw their upgrade promotion and so decided to switch to 2 mbps. Yesterday an employee of TMNET came to my house to upgrade the speed. He had to do something and then come back in 2 days he said but he left a Streamyx-in-a-box wireless modem with me. I'm just wondering if switching modems will mess up my PS3. I currently use a TP-LINK model no: TL-WR541G/TL and on the Streamyx wireless router it says it is a RIGER DB108-WL. I'm sorry for my bad IT knowledge but all help would be appreciated.

hello im planning to get belkin adsl wifi router to set wireless connection for my ps3 and few PCs. is belkin get any problem in term of connecting? which model u recommend?

Guys need help. Im using D-Link DSL-2740B modem/router on Wifi, and i have no problem signing in to PSN. But when i do internet connection test the NAT always say failed. I can play FIFA 10 online with my friends, but not Uncharted 2.

I did port forward for a few port but no difference

Pakcik pakai belkin since day 1. So far, these are mine



- No problem, on PS3, on USB dongal, laptop
- once rosak, just send back to dealer and they will replace with new one
- Customer Support very good, just call and they will answer.
- If you have problem with connecting to PS3, just call customer support

Has anyone tried more than 1 ps3 playing online side by side ?

guys, i got problem playing codmw2 multiplayer.. cannot find a single game.. but codmw can connect and play.. what problem exactly? i alrdy set DMZ to my PS3 and set static ip to my PS3.. still cannot connect...

no prob... its fine so far... 2-3 ps3 using 1mb streamyx line... minimal lag when playing kz2

i think riger.. i use streamyx 1mb.. static ip is in range and i can browse internet from my ps3.. when i test connection got NAT type-2.. but when i try to run MW2, it shows NAT strict.. i play CODMW before and no problem but when want to play CODMW2 cannot..

can u disable firewall? and try to see whether u still got NAT strict...
