Can somebody teach me how to solve this problem? My router model is Linksys WAG54G2. That router model has issue on UPNP. Solution: Set PS3 ip address as static (outside DHCP range to avoid conflicts) Then open ports for ps3 (Applications and Gaming > Single Port Forwarding) Set PS3 as the DMZ host (Applications and Gaming > DMZ).

Is ur modem auto-dial? if not, u can set PPPoE connection in PS3 network settings (require streamyx user id and password) This post has been edited by shahreza2000: Dec 15 2009, 10:48 AM

Hey guys I need some advice. Right now my ISP is TMNET and I use their RM99 a month 1MBPS. Most games work ok online but I I can afford better so I'm upgrading to 2MBPS. I just want to know will it mess up my PS3 settings if you upgrade speeds. Thanks for all advice given. When you do network setup in the PS3, manually configure the IP of your connection to your router. Its should be 192.168.2.1 for the bottom 3 entry. subnet mask is 255.255.255.0
