I am having 80710102 error too. ANybody can help to resolve this problem.
My PS3 firmware is still 3.01, or i must update to 3.10 in order to connect to internet?
I used to be able to connect to internet, but now i can't. There is no change of setting neither on my PS3 or modem router.
When i do connection test, my PS3 failed to obtain IP adress.

Anybody have experienced the same problem here? Or know the solution for this problem.

If it is conflict IP address, how can i resolve this problem?

I'm using P1 and i've set up my router.
I tried connect to it using wifi but it cant. It says DNS error, my laptop and psp also cant connect. What's the prob ?

When i used my bro's laptop to connect, it shows 2 of the same connection, eg : mizer and mizer_1 but cant go online

Guys, when i go for internet connection test my UPnP says it is not available. And my PlayStationNetwork couldnt be connected. Can somebody teach me how to solve this problem?  My router model is Linksys WAG54G2.

im using dir-300, can connect to internet and PSN, and can play online for game such as LBP, FIFA, but not MW2...why??

i try use wired, but everytime i enter my PPPoE setting, my username and password, an error state that my username or pass is wrong, why?im sure they r both correct as i have try to login to streamyx page....

my set up is like
"phone jack--> adsl modem--> ps3"
after setting up my network connection setting on the ps3...i got "DNS ERROR"
what is a "DNS" & how do i check if its wrong?

Hey guys I need some advice. Right now my ISP is TMNET and I use their RM99 a month 1MBPS. Most games work ok online but I I can afford better so I'm upgrading to 2MBPS. I just want to know will it mess up my PS3 settings if you upgrade speeds. Thanks for all advice given.

  Everytime I enable my PS3 media server . It will immediately say , the " The PS3 has been disconnected from the media server " . After that , all internet connection is lost and the internet disconnects on my router .

I've no idea why this is happening and I hope you guys have some clue as to whats going on

guys, i got problem playing codmw2 multiplayer.. cannot find a single game.. but codmw can connect and play.. what problem exactly? i alrdy set DMZ to my PS3 and set static ip to my PS3.. still cannot connect...

i think riger.. i use streamyx 1mb.. static ip is in range and i can browse internet from my ps3.. when i test connection got NAT type-2.. but when i try to run MW2, it shows NAT strict.. i play CODMW before and no problem but when want to play CODMW2 cannot..

Hey guys I just recently upgraded to 4MBPS but Streamyx replaced my TMNET router and TP-Link wireless modem with their own Riger DB-108 wireless modem. For some reason my NAT type is Type 2 moderate, even though shouldn't it be Type 1 open? Before I had my upgrade done it was type 1 open. If I try to enable UpnP it says it is unavailable.

Is there anyway to change the NAT to type 1 by enabling UpnP? Or is it not needed to be type 1 open. I tested it on MW2 on Monday and it worked very well, but I would prefer type 1 so all help is appreciated. Thank you

I really hate IP fragments issues.. Even tho i got Nat type 2, i sometimes have problem connecting to servers or room. Geez...
