Was at Cineleisure today to buy something for my Xbox from Gamer's hideout. the comic shops on the lower ground all selling TF toys now, but not at RRP. One of the shop got KO MP OP!!! shocking.gif But RM 299.00!!! rclxub.gif shocking.gif

Of course, comic shops tend to sell very expensive like Leader Brawl RM 300 rclxub.gif Voyager 1st Strike Prime RM 115 rclxub.gif
all want to hop on the TF bandwagon. But interest seems to be fading, so the price is in a process of dropping, except maybe binals and not in production MPs.

Saw got Stockade of all places at (censored) yesterday, but got 2 only and selling at rrp. Dunno if kena ambil or not by now.

So I went to TWorkers after my trip to Cineleisure to check out if there are any MP SS. There were 2 there, so since I cannot wait for my Hasbro version to arrive (taking too long liao), I upgraded to the Takara version.

Yes, I am now part of the MPSS club thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

wah2 incinerator... is it nice? worth getting it?  hmm.gif

I saw the black Takara one, alt mode nicer than the hasbro one, plus you get a small mini "allspark" cube. But Takara atleast RM 40-50 more. Still if can get the Hasbro at Rm 100 which is the RRP then it is worth getting.

considering the price i paid... seems pretty reasonable to get it before retail... hehehe.. braggin' rights! biggrin.gif

transformation wise...i'd give it a 2... very easy to figure out without instructions... feels solid as well.. not loose

True true, nothing like bragging you got a figure b4 anyone else rclxms.gif

Wah, now I am thinking should I get the TFA starscream or not, test driven it at TWorkers a while ago, not bad. *** poison, poison ***

As for TFA BB, took me a while to transform it w/o manual. It is hard, but not too hard like Bulkhead or megatron. once you figure out very easy.

@ samus, sorry, i can only offord only ONE seeker at the moment. The other MP I am considering is MP-04, if the price is right. Please be next month or the month after since Feb budget burst kau kau. rclxub.gif

Too bad TF didn't win any Oscars, but I think something bay could have left out like-
1) The master-bathing references.. who really needs it?!?!?!? mad.gif
2) BB "pee-ing"
3) OP and gang acting stupid at Sam's house

Sure the effects were nice and out of this world, but they were too fast in some instances and hard to see what it is going on. Not surprise if some Oscar reviewers miss a scene or 2 during the fast battle scenes. Maybe next time show the transformation in slow motion wink.gif

Maybe next time I guess whistling.gif

at this rate I better stop with TFA and concentrate on MPs and BTs. Real Transformers FTW!~! laugh.gif icon_idea.gif

Let's see my wishlist:-
1) MP-04
2) BT-20
3) BT-19
4) BT-21?
5) MP-7 (Grimlock????)

I graduated to MP and BT level already thumbup.gif

So RRP of a BT is around RM 200? sureahh?

I for one believes that the new Jazz would look perfect in the bodykit, with the metallic paint job it doesn't get any better. icon_idea.gif

QUOTE(madstone @ Feb 26 2008, 10:35 PM)

Guys,
just pop up in my mind just now
Is it possible that certain shop made some effort by print the Takara sticker (the one we see infront & beneath the box)
by doing that, they can stick it to Hasblow products & claim it come from Takara's factory
and sell it on behalf Takara's for gaining extra RM
  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

*
Well some are obvious like BTs are made of die-cast while alternators are plastic. But I do agree that the TFTM line Takara sticker no differenc except maybe the black incinerator or takara NWOP (with defective eye lights, ouch).

Hope that BT-20 is die-cast sweat.gif
