The standard buy-back price for the modems is RM75. We buy them back too. So contact us. For this price, it may be worth it to sell back the USB modem. But the iZZiPro and iZZiWi is worth more and you might wanna try selling it to ur fren. If that fails, yea, contact us.

Well, iZZi is actually unlimited during certain times of the night. And they provide 750MB of bandwidth per day (22.5GB per 30-day month). So they are quite generous and semi-unlimited. Haha. Just beware of those not-so-well-informed salesmen.

QUOTE(whitemouse1314 @ Jun 6 2009, 02:56 AM) really?but that was insane because at my house(mentari court) which is not far from sunway also but why the speed so much different !!!! Haiz T_T" Even such distance makes a difference. An iBurst station can cover EFFECTIVELY up to 2km. So, a few hundred metres makes loads of difference. Eh, Mentari Court is quite far la. If the station is above your place, it's like 20m vs 1km+. Thats a huge difference.

QUOTE(whitemouse1314 @ Jun 6 2009, 12:15 PM) lol far meh?? 2km shit !!! i thought was 13km radius per base station according to their salesperson!!! btw,any other alternative broadband on my area with a better performance than iZZi.FYI,I stay at 10th floor. As i know most of broadband dont cover high rise level condo/apartment right only this iZZi tell me that they serve high rise level Well, that salesperson is telling you the half truth. 13km is really possible...if you were in a dessert and there's nothing between you and the station that is. As for your alternative, you'll have to test it first. I can help. Call me. 10th floor is not too high. Some other networks might work. Ps. I have all the wireless broadbands available to me but I use iZZi at home.

QUOTE(whitemouse1314 @ Jun 9 2009, 04:09 PM) jalan kuching also one of congested area i think !!!! my fren who was stay putramas condo used to be get a crap connection same as me at sunway here " Not sure about which part of Jalan Kuching, but I have a customer living on the 17th Floor of putramas 2 and he got 800kbps + speedtest. When I look out the window, the base station is just there! On the roof of a nearby building! There's line of sight with nothing in between and also perhaps 300-400m distance between the station and the customer. QUOTE(loki @ Jun 9 2009, 10:53 PM) speed depends on tower proximity? I thought it depends on number of users per tower? If you got 1000 users using that same tower, then you are pawned!!!! Yea, proximity counts. Not just for iZZi but for others also la.

Yea, different place (even different units of the same condo), different performance. Maybe you're not as lucky as him.

QUOTE(Alex09 @ Jun 12 2009, 10:03 PM) On July 1st I sell my iZZiyou USB modem. Just PM me if you are interested in buying it. Has to be picked up and payed at the morning of July 1st, as I will leave the country on that particular day. Bought it in February 09. PMed. Oh, I get usually 50kbps with iZZi. To tell you guys the truth, I have all the broadbands with me and the one I love the most is iZZi cause of it's bandwidth allowance. Download a movie every night.
