
I'm staying in Taman Miharja, speed less than 250kbps (all days), sometimes even 70kbps.
Complaint N times, finally got the answer - " It's NORMAL (?????) to get speed below 330k in ur area, we had done a speedtest outside ur house and found that the maximum speed in ur area is 330kbps"
Can you believe this? Then why dont they upgrade their lousy services?
I asked if I can get an antenna, the answer is " I dont think the antenna will helps, coz ur signal is 100%, antenna is ony useful for those who r getting poor signal.
Asked me close all firewalls, antivirus program, and said mayb this will help. (told him i tried b4! and no use at all! ) Asked me to ask Microsoft how to shut down antivirus program that is running behind.
Asked me to online at my balcony (open space) coz the signal may b blocked by the walls. When he heard that my balcony is the place to hang the clothes and really no place for me to online, he said: " I still suggest that you shud online at ur balcony instead of your room, coz izzi is best to use at outdoor".
Asked me whether i can use second laptop or desktop to online instead of using my current one. Tell me who owns more than one laptop at home? You think all ppl so rich ah?
Can u imagine how angry I am?
Finally i asked whether i can unsubcribe the service, the answer is " You hv subscribed our service for more than 6 months already, if you wan to cancel, we can do for you, but you still have to pay for the rest of the months". I wanted to stop the service earlier but there's no other 'good' wireless service in KL and it's not convenient for me to get streamyx coz I'm just renting a room in KL.
So as a conclusion, i hv to stick to this lousy service, even have to wait for 10 seconds or more for a page to load. Even get into yahoo or gmail also have to wait.
There is no way i can get better speed with my RM104.83/month izziyou and (accoridng to them) i should feel grateful that i'm getting "NORMAL" speed now.
