Guys,

i jus subscribe to izzi you 699 package and i'm facing a big prob here. I'm using mac and after installing the iburst terminal then i plugged in the USB modem. the signal is freaking strong but then when i go to download.com and download some application for my mac, prob arose here. Man, the dling speed only up to max 3.5kb/s , hell man, that's even slower than tmnet dial up.... I was wondering does the izzi driver that i installed will affect the connection speed or izzi is jus so lame? I'm staying at Vista Komanwel C block by the way. Does anyone can help me out here? do pm me or email me at chingwooi@gmail.com Txs heaps

Haha, but how's the speed when u're surfing net? i hv no prob surfing net u noe, the prob only arise when i dl smth. Paying approx rm100 per month for 3.5kb/s tongue.gif

Haha, i tot old kuchai road isn't far from bukit jalil? How come our fate are so diff ~.~ Most proably he stole all the signal so when it comes to our area it becomes very slow tongue.gif nope, i din refund it as i hv no prob surfing net, prob only comes when i use p2p programme(BT limewire bla bla bla). i was thinking of upgrade it to izzipro, well eric is coming to do the speedtest for me this friday, if the speed can go higher then i will upgrade to izzipro.

so overall, i agree with u, Anodize, mayb when i juz start using izzi tat time, they dunnot have 3 tower rounding me, so now got 3 bs lor..so n more user connect to this 3 bs, so my speed getting slow. ...am i right..?then if i buy that 14db one, juz let terminal connect to 1 bs n dun change the bs always, then the speed increase..this is juz wat i think lar..sorry if i wrong..

i need more suggestion from u Anodize....

very funny....izzi not control the reseller one ? if the website put RM100..then we purchase it with RM100..is fine..

If u want to buy the anthenna, u can go to Plaza Lowyatt 2nd floor. They r selling it at rm 68. I bought one there.Or call tis guy, Sunny at 0123589228, he's the guy selling the anthenna.

izzi service is so lame, it's already the 3rd week and i still haven't got my refund for izziyou, who knows the company is packing and gonna run away ady... Haha. Man, before you purchase it, they said, no worries, the base station at bukit jalil will be up by the end of september, and now it's almost mid of oct ady i still don't see any sign of the station is being built, haha, when i asked them again , they said, no worries again, but this time they said it will be up within this month, bet how true can it be. Hope is denial of reality, lol.

Hi, anyone staying at vista komanwel tried out the new netlynx provided by Timedotcom yet? I was thinking of subscribing the 2mbp broadband becoz izzi is too slow for sharing and my housemates jus won't share with me because he said he's some kind of competitive gamer, lol . I wanna ask does Netlynx throttle p2p share? Anyone knows about it?

Haha, refund it since u jus used it for 3 days. Wait until the base station is on air 1st then only come back to Izzi. U can't trust those reselller man, i also get conned by them before.

It's already one month since i hv refunded the izziyou package, anything i could do at all to speed up the refund process? Like complain or sue them ? tongue.gif

Who should i call actually? I hv tried to call the shop in Low yat plaza that sold me the Izzi package but then they keep on telling me that the cheque is not ready yet and they will sms me or call me when it's rdy. Lol. So i tried to write to the Izzi customer service 2 weeks ago and guess what, till now they still haven't replied anything, not even a single call from Izzi, lulx, kinda disappointed with them ady. The shop even told me that i will be able to get the refund most probably within 2 weeks coz i paid cash, haha, kena conned kau kau by them.

You should get a test run 1st before subscribing to Izzi, coz ur area might ady be congested so it'll be freaking slow.
