QUOTE(prasys @ Jun 30 2008, 06:31 PM)
Hey there,

All you have to do is simply send a letter to Mr. Darshan darshan[at]nccc[dot]org[dot]my (replace it. I've mainly typed in that manner to avoid spambots from spamming his e-mail address).  Just send a letter and explain your situation. Let the NCCC folks post up your letter and let them forward it to the MCMC and other relevant parties. Trust me , it will tremble them and you'll be able to get your refund. Use your rights (as a consumer). Just make sure your voice is heard. Do attach relevant documents as well so that Mr Darshan can help you in this matter. This person has helped me a lot in my case against Maxis , which later allowed me to terminate my Maxis Wireless without paying RM 200 termination fee !

Oh.... thats cool.... maybe i can tell my customer about that on how to terminate Maxis without paying RM200.

What's up with all these contracts and penalties you have to pay if you leave a certain provider. It's like if you leave us you Fail and you should just mega_shok.gif and give us more money. Bleh just disconnect and report these morons to the proper authorities. Providers like this give me the feeling of lone sharks and their worst because their suppose to be legit jeez pathetic vmad.gif.

You should be able to switch providers anytime you want provided you settle your current bills and yeah users have the choice to change not be held for ransom vmad.gif.

lol.... this is Malaysia. Its something like doctors in malaysia. Doctors in malaysia holds the right not to tell patients on what's the medication they are giving. In taiwan, the patients have the right to know what they give and if there are any mistake, doctors in taiwan will loose their jobs and have to pay back everything they've earn their entire life.

This is Malaysia my friend. Things work in a different manner. Even if you go to New Zealand , the ISPs over there do have their own set of policy. Not to mention that there will be a data limit cap. Suppose if you exceed the cap , you'll be capped to 64Kbps for both upstream an upstream till the next cycle. But in Malaysia , its unlimited. That is how they manage their bandwidth in New Zealand. As the old saying goes - the grass is always greener on the other side !

Prasys I lust.gif your quote "As the old saying goes - the grass is always greener on the other side !"

It's not but i know what you mean. My cousin is a permanent citizen with his family over there and yeah he says connection is way better than here by a very huge margin. I will be staying with him and he is a huge torrent downloader drool.gif. I just can't wait to get unlimited cap speed woot rclxm9.gif. He does agree though they do have certain ISP or packages that have limited broadband usage but there are many choices and ISP providers he is like it's not a problem.

As I say anything beats TMnut shocking.gif rclxub.gif. I have dealt with customer service with games especially Blizzard 1nes and hell their tech support is miles ahead then ours. I just like if someone doesn't get their facts straight or sends you on a wild goose chase there's hell to pay over in other countries because their very strict when it comes to quality.

Look at Comcast how their fighting them and switching providers at least people open their mouths here it's yes we understand understand keep nodding head while they do what they like.

Comes a time when you just need to give them a kick up their rear so they get the service to something of a stable use. I tried my part with the Consumer service let's see how they do hmm.gif.

I say Prasys lead a protest I'll back you up at home rclxs0.gif. Take care icon_rolleyes.gif.

I think it's MCMC dream to ensure all operator (wired and wireless) to provide 70% of the promised rate to the subsribers. But unfortunately none of the big providers will follow (imagine how many sites they need to ensure 70%), if the MCMC forces them to do so, they will just abandon the broadband project and everyone will just go back to StreamxyX (since the business case will never be justified at 70%, i doubt it can even reach 10%).
