u can't sued based on tat process matters la..

i've got a friend sued on other isp service and he's stoopid coz he said his p2p torrents were slow and browsing were fast...as a consumer..and referring to the internet law..torrents and p2p is legal...so if you cancel your isp product such as maxis, streamyx, izzi or what so ever..and you complaint coz u torrents slow.then u will get the MALU back..my friend kena already...coz the isp company did a speedtest and web surfing witht the authorities there and also using his pc and it's true the connection is fast..only problem is the torrents...

my friend work with those isp company and some customer cancel their account becoz they had problems to log in to facebook...to be honest i used stremyx at home..DL torrents is ok but i had problems to log in to facebook sometimes..it takes a longer time to log in...
yet same goes to youtube sometimes..sometimes u have to understand that those web were popular nowdays and many people log on to their server.. and that's why it's slow..not becoz of your isp product...

that is why some isp block or throttle ur torents / p2p...coz it's a legal thing..u can't sued and said to consumer tribunal on tis issue..torrents is consider part of anti piracy thing la....u complaint or sue u will KENA back....

another "good" news from sunway/pj area,
few weeks ago, my singal drop tremendously from 90%/100% to 10%-30% now...
the speed when i getting 100% signal is so slow already, so what do u thnk the speed that i can get when the signal is 10%-30%?
call to service centre... n i'm not the 1st time call them... straightly i shout to them... dun fool me... n i told them i said i make many reports b4... n they sked of me ad... said will check for me...
smmore said call me "wait a moment" on the phone, then i told them, last time u call me "wait a moment", i wait on the phone for 20mins only no response, waste my phone credit only... St*pid !!! n i shout to them... they said will call me back...
ya... they really call me back... but is 45mins after they promise.. imagine if i really that stupid waiting them on the phone "for a moment"... n they end up telling me this:

operator: refer to our technician, there is currently got a minor problem regard to the base station on sunway,sj,damansara,pj area... so technicians already try to fix it...

me: but the problems is there for almost 2 weeks... hvnt get fix yet?

operator: they already try their best to fix it... i had already set ur problem to a "high" profile problem... any improvement of the service i will update u...

me: approximate will take how long to fix it...

operator: not sure... they already fixing it now (>< gosh....)

until now, i din receive any call to update me yet... n the signal is so jump... smtimes i cant even connect with the low signal... is stupid la !!! they really eat consumer money only... f**k off iZZi... 3 weeks the problems is there still dowan fix.... wat kind of service is that? i'm sure mny sunway residents will met this problem...

for suscriber who want to suscribes, i suggest to suscribe streamyx... although smtimes their speed is no good, but honestly said... at least they let u surf net and sign in ur msn... where iZZi dun let u connect at all due to those stupid reason... budget problems? if streamyx combo come out earlier, i wont thnk of iZZi at all seriously...

iZZi reseller, refer back this to ur company... u think only u all can hit the broadband market? if u all continue this kind of service, all ppl will go for streamyx... i'm sure all ppl is sked of the monthly rental fees only... now it's no longer a problem already... ur 1MB is not 1MB speed la pls... is kind of... cheat consumer money...

p2p is not an issue now la... who also know their speed is s*cks ad la... people who said their speed is good, they will just enjoy for "a moment" la.. after tat, when more users on tat area, c what is their feed back...
just call iZZi giv their user a stable connection...
well maintainance of the base station... (it's a bit over for letting users suffer 3 weeks of cannot using the internet, if they really want to do so, so will them pay us back?)

I have contacted these s*cks izzi. Their recent feed back is they claim they have send a mail to my bank for cancelling the creditcard transaction (infact the transaction is already done few month ago). And this ball is throw to my bank already? what kind of service is this mad.gif

For those who really want to subscribe (coz of sure get refund-nothing to lose policy) really need to think "TWICE"

hmmm... currently i still have no problem with with my customers. cuz for those who bought from me, if, they do refund thing, I give them cash directly... lol...
but i cannot represent other resellers as i am one of the distributors.

fyi, torrent is legal, just the matter of user using torrent for downloading legal or illegal stuff.

wimax is coming 2 town.izzi is reacting by installing more base station.see website.still no sign of 2Mbps upgrade...in the pipeline,my water pipe got faster connection.now,playing cabal is a bitter experince 4 me.wasn't so last month,it was smooth n silky.now,need i say more...

jump 2 the wimax wagon,when it comes...any takers???

totally correct. For those duno ... torrent is not an Illegal activity. Only the content of the torrent *might* be illegal due to license / trademark / etc...
between, when suscbribe to 1mbps package with "best of efforts" term which actual only provide less than 10% of the speed is consider acceptable???
well... IZzzi running a good biz rules by sucking full amount of payment in advance which no need listen to ubi kentang like me now.

i was playing cabal wih no lag n everything was peachy.then tis month,it started 2 lag very badly even got dc many times.is this becoz of izzi n its big latency/pings or its d cabal server's fault?when everything was silky,i was playing in a channel wih barely a slot left 4 others 2 enter,now there is many slots n many lag...

Today was the day that i flip out at the IZZI service. I have been taking all this BS from them since the day I sign up. Its been over 3 weeks now since I sign up for the IZZIpro package, from first day my download speed never exceed 100kbps. I have been holding my ballls because i only have myself to blame for paying upfront to a dubios ISP. But i totally lost it this morning when it took me 1.5 hr to download my emails. There was a very important email tat didnt reach me until it was too late. So i have to drag my Jet lagged ass off my bed to the office and reply 1 email. You can imagine my mood by then, to top if off i have logged a case with the technical support last week but being the imbecile that they are, they didnt call me as promised. So i call them up again ask "nicely" wat had happen to my connection and how come no one called me as promised. I have to admit i steped over the line because i was using all sort of colourful market vlugarity at him. He HUNG UP on me. which is fine because i needed sometime to cool off and come to my senses. I call them up again and ask to speak to a manager. There i calmly told them what happen and that i am not happy with the service. here is the best part, instead of trying to pacify me he said " if you are not happy with the service you should have gotten your refund before your 7 days was up" WAT the ....From day one when i call the tech support they have been asking me to get my refund instead of trying to improve on their service. That really ticked me off cause u see even if we get our refund before 7 days we need to pay 180 and god knows how much for the registration. they have already made money off us with their stupid refund policy so they never even bother to try and improve their service. I have been a a crusade to make sure that no one else get con by Izzi. Sorry Anodize... I admit that ou are a very good agent but I think Izzi is a really bad ISp. ha... there i have let off some steam... Anyway is there anyway we can make them pay? How can we make the authority to take notice of our plea.? Seriously i feel that i have just been con but there is nothing i can do about it

Goneraz, THank you for the compliments.
The main reason towards the refund policy is that they cannot control the resellers selling out their product without testing at their(Customer) area. Thus they could only say to refund. That is why i provide the service of testing out at the customer's place before selling it to them. This is to make sure that my customer are satisfied with me.

Yes... You should really put up with them. Sometimes, a company needs more feedback from their customer so that they could improve their services. But since you've already returned it, i am not sure what they can do.

Let me share you with my similar experience with maxis. I was an ex-maxis broadband user myself. At first I was able to put up with all those non-sense such as blocking ports , 20GB services and other things. At least i was able to play online games with a latency of 300-400ms , which is tolerable. Something to blow off some steam. Then they started to throttle non-standard port by setting the traffic to bulk , hence it made it impossible for me to play online games. sure I can connect fine but the latency shoots up pretty high. Then I couldn't take it and said goodbye to them. There is no use of putting up with companies like izzi i think. Do this , e-mail to mr.Darshan (if you want his E-mail addy) . He is from NCCC ( http://www.nccc.org.my/) . Just express your frusration to him and he will forward it and publish your letter. Send one cc to izzi as well and demand for your refund).Simple , you should opt for a better service instead. Maybe celcom might be better

Thanks for sharing your experient in here. infact I'm facing the problem same as you, what they feed back is they have contact the bank to cancel my transaction (with the prove of a fax). I'm goint to wait till my next month credit card bill and see whether the rebate is there ? Any how I should note down this NCCC website, I'm sure it's very useful for our consumer awareness.

i think celcom is similiar to maxis. but i heard that they get disconnected lots of time. and they also cap the speed for downloading torrents.. for me, i could get up to 120+KBps. Its consider fast for me already. I don't do online gaming and such, so, its very sufficient for my usage already.

Hey there,

All you have to do is simply send a letter to Mr. Darshan darshan[at]nccc[dot]org[dot]my (replace it. I've mainly typed in that manner to avoid spambots from spamming his e-mail address). Just send a letter and explain your situation. Let the NCCC folks post up your letter and let them forward it to the MCMC and other relevant parties. Trust me , it will tremble them and you'll be able to get your refund. Use your rights (as a consumer). Just make sure your voice is heard. Do attach relevant documents as well so that Mr Darshan can help you in this matter. This person has helped me a lot in my case against Maxis , which later allowed me to terminate my Maxis Wireless without paying RM 200 termination fee !
