QUOTE(jerrynks @ Apr 19 2009, 12:29 PM) yes its different technology but is the material wise and the equipment and also the configuration wise.... a single dish and the technology and configuration that comes with it is very costly...and every single dish they build they need to have a back up line as stated by MCMC ... Hmm you lost me there lol.. I dont know what ur comparing to iburst. Either 3G/HSDPA or your talking about Cell sites.IMO planting a 3G base station cost heck lot more than iBurst due to the specs, how it works and what it can do. QUOTE(adam09 @ Apr 19 2009, 12:35 PM) anybody from kelana jaya? maybe BS in ur area having problem or maintenance. Sometimes it happens. But usually its fixed up in one day.yesterday night just cant log in???...the signal is either 0 or 100 % when is 100%,u sign in it turn to 0% again...or after it connenct to port,it stuck at verify name and password... my modem or izzi??? beside that, the signal just not like my normal signal,my normal signal is 95-100%,but yesterday 0,10,20,100% ,even 100 also couldnt log in,like i mention above anyway i found this QUOTE 1 August 2008 lmfao...200 BS by next year. maybe by one august 2009. that would be exactly a year.Izzinet is the first ISP in Malaysia to provide Mobile Wireless Internet Broadband Services. To date Izzinet have deployed more then 70 iBurst base stations with 15,000 subscribers and plans to deploy up to 200 base stations by next year. |

Dont trust speed test.
Try do some direct download using download manager to see the speed. I always download from imageshack *torrent* around 70kB/s - 125 kB/s. Depends on the time, but mostly direct is above 80kB/s. |

Here's a quick guide how to change DNS.
https://www.opendns.com/start/ Anyway there's no point changing to openDNS due izziDNS is openDNS :s *correct me if im wrong* You better use other reliable DNS such as Verizon or something else. Verizon DNS Server Address 4.2.2.1 4.2.2.2 4.2.2.3 4.2.2.4 4.2.2.5 4.2.2.6 Pick two and apply it to your settings if iZZi DNS fail to work. |

QUOTE(boystyle @ May 31 2009, 07:57 PM) Yeah they what we, izzi users are experiencing, until they started to capped our bandwith and limited the speed after the bandwith limit for the day met. This started since the end of last year(I can't really remember exactly when tho). Their FUP state otherwise. But they still state that their bw is unlimited for u-know-for-what-reason. |

QUOTE(Shopboy @ Jun 11 2009, 04:22 AM) I always got 100% reception but never once my DL hit 100KB/s. i thought u download 2 movies and a couple of series in one day with izzi.Once in a blue moon I'll get 80KB/s but mostly 50 +/- KBs *remembering you've posted here somewhere in this thread last time claiming that* |
